I have a 7950 with a 1 fan design and there is no problem with cooling. I also have a 7850 with 2 fan design and it has problems with overheating.

You can't make a sweeping claim saying a single-fan design is the worst ever. And please don't try to appear all holy and mighty by saying "good luck trying to cool it."
