I think putting some taxation about the bitcoin is good to make it more acceptable in all countries.  Most of all countries the reason they banning is because no tax imposed.
Tax is very essential since it is the life blood doctrine to support the operations of the government. It will be more good if this thing happen.

just the same way they control the natural flow of the physical money they want to tax bitcoin and have all info about people involved in cryptocurrencies. looks like nazi Germany in some countries. (stole btc from their citizens, like in Bulgaria). luckily we will have alternatives with highly anonymous coins.

I have never heard of any countries that tax a bitcoin. But, if it really happens then it can be ensured that the country has made bitcoin as a legitimate currency in their country for various transactions to be used. I dream of it happening in my country so I do not have to make an exchange to use bitcoin as a transaction tool.

  • I heared about several countries that tax BTCitcoin.
  • I do have to pay tax over my BTCitcoin. (I need to declare the value of my assets including BTCitcoin (and cash) that i own on 1 January each year.
  • Legal or illegal  has noting to do with paying tax. In the country where i live if the government catches you with illegal activities
the Tax office comes. You need to pay tax over your illegal earnings. And if you did not declared this income or assets on your tax form you also need to pay a penalty.

If the goverment put tax to bitcoin transaction, what will the consequences?

The profit will decrease and attraction also decrease in my opinion. How about yours

For me there is nothing wrong if the government will collect tax on Bitcoin because it is part of the regulation in which the nations will benefits on tax if they will adopt and legalized bitcoin. I am support this taxation as long as Bitcoin tax will not be use in corruption but it should be directly to serve the people. Some of us hate taxation because they are only thinking of themselves that there bitcoin income will be reduced, they don't think that tax is better than government will declare it ban.

Tax us a prerogative of the government. If they so be it. Trading of cryptocurency there is no different from other business that pay taxes. What would be the reason of btc for tax exemption? I see nothing.
Better to be taxed than to be banned by the government.
In term of profit of course it will decrease but still good enough.

I agreed, definitely you're correct. Well, I believe someday that it will be happen that government will ask some taxes in bitcoin due to the regulation of the nation as its part in the constitutional law. But on that matter it will takes time since the bitcoin was designed as decentralized was occurred that no 3rd party will involved. Maybe, it tatakes time that needs further discussion between the government the crypto currency community.

I dont think it will ever happen, if it will be still there will be so many ways to get pass those taxes lol.
If the government will put tax in bitcoin I think their are more individual who used bitcoin right now will against it. Because they will not allowed government to put tax, because bitcoin is private.

It seems that this will not be possible, if the government has put tax on bitcoin it will be a big factor for those who are involved in bitcoin. People in Bitcoin will be confused. Maybe if the tax is imposed, then the question will arise if public bitcoin will use this digital currency. That bitcoin rate will be very low. Due to high fees and taxes they may be busy with cryptocourrency.

It would seem like double-dipping to a certaiin extent, not that they wouldn't do that, but I just don't think they will waste time attempting to tax cryptocurrency as it is a decentralised and anonyomous asset, it wouldn't work very well.

There is already a tax in Poland. If you want to convert BTC into cash then you have to pay 19%. That's a lot of things and we will not get over it. Also, BTC transfers will also be taxed ...

Until now the government still can not withdraw taxes from transactions and also the ownership of Bitcoin. I see this as a weakness because then the income of a country will decrease, we know that the sustainability and development of a country will depend on income from taxes received. There may be a regulatory regulation about it, we must all play an active role because it can affect the future of Bitcoin.

No. Any government tax not include bitcoin. becose this is uncentralized system
I dont think that the goverment will put tax on bitcoin because goverment doesnt care yet about bitcoin, goverment is focusing on puttiing tax on other things, and i think goverment will only put tax on bitcoin after 10years, because 10years from now bitcoin is we will be very high and popular.

No it will not decrease the the profit you can earn through bitcoin. Tax should be done in bitcoin to have its legality official for all people and will not think that investing in bitcoin is scam. If there is tax the it means that bitcoin is regulated by government and accept bitcoin as part of tbeir economy and which also means that the government will not think to ban bitcoin is their country.

For me, i see nothing wrong with paying tax on bitcoin. And you know if the government create new laws for bitcoin tax people should follow or there will be a consequence. you know government are very bad in dealing with such issues and lastly i don't think the profit of bitcoin will reduce a lot when people start paying the tax.

This will create a little discouragement on bitcoin enthusiast. But in the long run, people will go with the system.
I'm not against on that, as long as the government use that funds to protect the welfare of the crypto investors from hackers.
