It is really that wide scale that has made Eth what it is right now. However, with the upgrade going on with waves and some of these other huge projects coming up, I would not really want to be too relaxed. Ethereum for sure has been building this platform and will keep doing its best to improve as times go on.

Moreover, like they always say, the devil you know is better than the angel you do not know. But it can get crazy if people start testing the angel and then ended up seeing it to be a lot much better than the devil they have always known.

Some are good and have excellent prospects, such as NEO.
But ETH isn't standing still, there is a lot of development going on (just had a successful fork as well). ETH has a big advantage at the moment, and is not likely to relinquish #2 position to another smart contract platform - certainly not in the short- to medium-term.

As you said ethereum will be the best competitor for bitcoin in future currently the price of ethereum is very much less when compared to the bitcoin price but the price of bitcoin is also same when two years back.So ethereum price will also bump in the coming years.Bitcoin cash also looks like having good potential but as far my knowledge ethereum will be the best of all altcoins.

Comparing them just technologically would be worthless.
It's not just the technology that is driving the market, it's mostly ease for the token generators and user which is still clearly being led by ethereum.

yeah i see that those coins have claimed that they are better than ETHEREUM. But in the reality Ethereum has biggest community than them and has more stable prices than them. in some aspects eth has good features as well.

What about Emercoin? It is also very solid technology, and good development. Their tranaction cost is very low, and so is current market price. Huge potential for growth and profit

Not only caused by ark competitors and you can try to make a comparison like that. Lisk was better than ark and why does ark use the lisk platform as the main net? 
Ethereum can be called as the privacy coin at the same time when another never try to do that.

Project can be better technically, but name brand recognition is what seems to matter.  It's what's been making BTC so valuable eventhough other coins may be superior.

Most of these coins with the same function as Ethereum will obviously have a lot of work to do to be able to beat ETH to it. Getting to that stage is not really something that easy. After all, I would not really be too comfortable if I am to be ETH, because these guys are really going to give a whole lot of push and underestimating them as some are coming up with some crazy innovations, would be a bad move for ETH devs.
