Modding RX 570 Sapphire Nitro+ 8gb Hynix - bios flash issue

hi guys

i already flash dozens of gpu but i never saw this problem.

i bought some RX 570 Sapphire Nitro+ 8gb Hynix and bios is not really optimized but when i try to flash with latest 2.77 ATIFLASH in command line, it says he can't overwrite the bios !!
and bios is not the same lenght than the new one !!! and he can't flash

im sure i took an 8gb hynix on anoraks so it's ok.

command line i used :
atiflash -f -p 0 newrom.rom

what's that !! how can i force it ?
i even trid to put the original bios but its the same, i tried the switch button and its the same also ...

Did you first load the bios from the card with atiflash -s 0 xxx.rom?
Then mod bios with polaris bios editor 1.6.2 and activate one click bios mod?
If you doing like that there is hard to have any problem.

i didn't try, but i tried to save the actual bios with atiwinflash and it says "can't read bios" and it works with gpuZ.
i will try with the command line you gave me but i am not sure it will work.

They are roms with 256kb and 512kb.

Try to Copy bios with ATIWinflash 1.4.5 then determine a lenght of file it's 256 or 512.

Then try to flash with ATIWinflash 1.4.5.

I also had the same problem. Only the RX 580. Is the GPU with a BIOS size 256 KB and the same GPU with the BIOS 512 KB. In order to know what size of BIOS your GPU, you can simply make a copy of your BIOS and see its size. You should always have in reserve a copy of your original BIOS. I'm sure that's the reason.

all cards are 256kb bios file BUT

on 1 card, i can't read the bios even with atiwinflash, when i try to switch, the pc can't freeze and never start, when i switch again it comes back.

is it possible to renew this half bricked card, i can't write or read the bios...

i installed a new card and this time , i was able to flash it... perhaps a problem with the riser ?

howerver, i can't switch the silent bios on 2 of my cards, does it mean the rom is corrupted on this part  ? is it possible to re-flash a corrupted bios ?
i can't boot on this bios because the pc is freezing on startup...

 i need your help
i work with nicehash
i have a 6 gpu rig rx 580 sapphire nitro + with 8 bg  with no falsh at all
and 4 gb ram ddr3 +risers version 6.0
h81 pro btc 2.0 with windows 10 64 bit

All 6 cards show up in windows device manager

Tried installing combined driver by cryptomined
Tried installing 17.5.1 with 16.11.5 drivers changed (followed correct procedure)

No luck

I can run 5 cards with no issues but the moment we connect the 6th we get crash and blue screen the error saying ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY
what can i do ... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm having this same issue. Booting Windows in safe mode and removing the driver allows me to boot Windows again. But anytime I flash bios and install driver it will hang up agian.

Hoping to find a solution.

I actually need a tru original bios for this card.

I realized mine are all 129KB.

Ok anyone have a bios for sapphire 570 8gb nitro and the memory is either just Hynix or it's Hynix and another. My problem with these cards only is that windows keeps saying the card is a rx580. I saved my original bios but its not working.

There is already newest version of ATIFLASH 2.84. It has better compatibility especially if you are using it on latest Windows 10 edition. Try to flash your card with newest version. I think you’ll succeed.
