ELECTRON CASH HELP NEEDED / QUESTION

Recently sent BTC worth approx 1 BCH to Shapeshift. Provided shapeshifter with BCH address (electron cash). In the transaction I can see 2 outputs of approx 0.5 BCH each, however only one matches the recipient address I provided to shapeshift, and only one shows in my election cash application. Any ideas what the other address is / what happened to the other 0.5 BCH? Thank you.
