With Geens you can record a piece of music to prove that you're the original author of a song. With the time stamp you can prove, that you were the first one to write a song and that others who ripped it off and released it before you were just stealing. A common way to do this was to send it to yourself by mail, so the poststamp works as timestamp. With Geens that process is way easier, less complicated and for free!

Another idea (not a completely serious one to be honest  )

You can timestamp your idea for the Geens contest (and of course similar activitys ) So no one can steal your idea and you always have proof that you were the first one to come up with it. Even if you didn't post it in this thread or it isn't existing anymore. You can never be safe enough

in some sports such as fencing, you can record the results of the games using geens. Fencing tournaments start with pools and continue with stepladder format.

At the end of the pools and knockout games, fencers sign the results of the games that is written on a piece of paper. However, they don't get a copy. The ref keeps the piece of paper and hand it to the head of the fencing association. Then, they enter all the results to the database.

The problem is even one point can make a huge difference in overall rankings of the fencers. It can affect the fencer's next games which lead them to participate in foreign competitions. Geens would be helpful at this point for participants to prove if there is a false entrance of the results into the association database.

I see it more as a functionality to develop on the geens platform - you can put it on and off (or automatically if gps discovers speed); main thing is that you do it yourself and not forced by government

or we could go to timestamping the kilometers from start and end (take picture that timestamps) - and you can prove that you did not use the phone between the two stamps (logging of activity etc)  - could be for insurance

my friend became an agent for transportation company, and he's facing a problem.
Some customers claim that some items of their package have disappeared. The company don't have a good system, so he needs evacuation responsibilaty.
I think what Geens offers will be a good solution for his problem.



As normal person who don't have experience. Sometime I came up with good ideas. unfortunately, I don't have enough money to do it myself, so I like to sill this idea to some else. but there is no guarantee that person will paid me after I told him my idea even if he find it cool, maybe he'll say : " I don't like it ", just to not paid me.
I think with Genns I can protect my ideas without a Patent, just by write it down on Pdf and use Geens service.
