If you releasing source code at 9am, why do you exactly think people would not provide "non-official" pools at 10.01?
I bet there would be a few, considering recent trends.
I would suggest you to release source code @block 1000 if you want people to solomine for a few hours.

The expectation is that pools will also be available, just not official until Block 1000. We will be looking for someone to help to build a Linux GUI GPU miner at some stage also. |
