Any some tips out there who has knowledge about how to identify a scam bounty campaign.
I really want to know about it. Any response from knowledgeable is really a big help to a newbies out there like me.

I don't think the bounty campaign is a scam. Many people get tokens in the bounty game!
You may want to scrutinize the bounty program, and some of the bounty managers may cheat.
Most of the reward tasks are good projects!

Before you join Bounty, see that white paper and road map. If not available it's scam. Check red trust on this member, who post that bounty. If red trust their profile, avoid there bounty campaign. |

Scams are getting more and more elaborate but there are still many ways to spot a scam... Scam projects will often make bold claims about their product even though their project offers nothing new to the community. This is also very important. Who is behind the project? Do they have relevant experience and a track record of success? |

It is actually hard to recognize if the the bounty or signature campaigns are scam, it is a pain in the ass if the project you joined scammed you. You put a lot of effort and at the same time you spend a lot of time. As of my experience there are some point to recognize:
1. There is no well designed Website
2. Bounty Manager is not well known
3. Insufficient information about their project, and sometimes the most promising project can be a scam.

Read the whitepaper and the roadmap. Check if they have a well designed website. If they are serious they will pay more for designing a website. Read the ann thread of the project and ask questions about the crypto.

To be honest, the only way to determine it was a scam or not is :-
1) Not paying anything from your own pockets.
Some fake bounties at most will only waste some of your time. But usually I would see how well design a webpage is, and also its whitepaper.

No, bounty campaign is not a scam. Too many people getting tokens in the bounty game. You can search here or on the internet, you will get the right information about bounty campaign for sure.

Personally, scam campaigns are those one refuse to paid rewards for participants; reduce promised rewards without reasons; delayed and cut the period of campaign despite the fact that participants joined all long period of their campaigns.

at first, we cannot differentiate scam ICO from the genuine one because most of them are promising and sometimes, developers are good and competitive enough to make a project.

The first thing is read the whitepaper, it represent how the ideas of the project, their plans and their team. If you found that the ideas are not interesting, plans are not realistic, inexperienced team. Then you look at the community and highest rank member who comments, sometimes their comments opens our minds that the project might turn up into scam. Also look at their website, how they design and how professional they build everything.

I have suggestion, to go on their official webpage and read their white paper. You can always check new coins on reddit to, just so you can see, what is the opinion that people have on this one specific coin. Don't be too scared to join into bounty program just do you homework - simple google it will do its job.

Check their website and see how well its designed. Also read the ANN thread of the project here on forum and check they answers on others questions or ask your own questions. The quality of answers they give can give a clue. Reading the whitepaper and the roadmap is another way too but I find the whitepapers extremely boring sometimes.

This will be more about how to differentiate good bounty program from a bad one.
Usually it is a lot safer and more reliable to join bounty's which are managed by trusted or well established managers.
People with some good background usually take better care about participants and their problems, they have some sort of fee for doing their job and so, company that is willing to pay for a good manager is less likely to turn in as a scam. It's not 100% bulletproof hypothesis but rather a marker to look for. If ico starters are showing to be cheap in many aspects, than its probably just a money grab.

For me I guess it's not very easy to recognize which bounties is not scam. Cause there are some bounty has a strong team and great platforms but in the end it's still a scam. Maybe choosing bounties is just like joining a game, sometimes you win but sometimes you loose. Just like that, accept the reality in this crypto world. But if we failed to choose the legit one we just have to move on,think positive and looking forward that soon we will. 😊
