I have really limited knowledge about it, I am going to share what I understand about this topic first and need your help/opinion to understand it properly

When we are doing a transaction what miners are doing is they are registering it in a block that they have newly discovered by solving bitcoin algorithm (SHA256)
And this process it known as PoW

What is the function of Bitcoin nodes here? Listing the block (transactions) in database ?

How node are collecting data and where it is collecting its data from ?
