Hello,

I'm new to mining so please try to be objective about my request, thank you in advance.

This is are my miner specs:

  • mb: h110-d3a Gigabyte
  • cpu: Celeron G3930 2.9 Ghz
  • ram: Kingston HyperX 2x4GB
  • hdd: SSD Sandisk 120 gb
  • 4x Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 580 8 GB (bios moded)
  • 4x 120mm fans (on the miner chasis)
  • PSU1: Evga SuperNova 750 G2L
  • PSU2: Corsair 750 Tx

* The GPU Bios I use it's from http://1stminingrig.com/best-bios-rom-sapphire-nitro-rx-580-8gb-oc-hynix-memory-30-mhs/
- the V1 version: https://mega.nz/#!ZxQEwCDC!vSgnjdHRE0rpk7L8I95WQXPRkrT0lbrTDOcn6iQWRoI

I run the SimpleMining OS on it from a 3.0 USB 16 GB Transcend Stick

This are my underclock settings I made on SimpleMining

  • Core MHz: 1200
  • Memore MHz: 2200
  • Core Undervolting: 850
  • Powerstage: 1
  • Target Temperature C: 70
  • Minimum Fan Speed: 60

This is my reported Hash Speed while mining Ethereum and Decred (dual mine) with claymore-eth-v10.0

  • ETH: 122.55 MH/s
  • Decred: 3676.62 MH/s

With this temperature/fan speeds:

Code:
50 56 53 58 ℃
60 60 60 60 %

Random mining message from Console:

My total Wattage consume it is 850 W for this mining rig (I got the values from the meter I have on the plug)

My Questions are
Are this reports ok?
Isn't the Wattage consume too high? Or its fine for the speed/GPU I'm using?

Thanks

That's really good report ! 850W for 4*GPU dual mining is really good in my opinion

And your ETH Hashrate is good too : best hashrate I've heard on RX580 are around 31MHs, but you're really close to it

If your rig is stable (and that's the most important part), just stick to this and be happy Smiley

I have a question/suggestion though : if I were you, I would not use a USB stick to run SimpleMiningOS from. I've had some troubles with low quality USB sticks : their lifespan seems quite low. Wouldn't it better to run it with the SSD ?

Good luck

Hello,

Thank you for the answers. I'm happy the configuration and the consume its OK, I was worried it consumes too much

About the USB stick...I thought the Transcend JetFlash 810 it is a good USB but I guess I will look for something better, thank you for pointing that out...

Thank you again for taking the time and answering to my question
