As the title states

We all know that those popping uptoken here & there are 99.99% of them nothing more than shit tokens. BUT we all know that even shit tokens can be profitable (used to be actually).

So here is the Main Features to NOW 100% it's a shit token that worth 0, doesn't even worth your time filling that form or joining his telegram or following his twitter.

Easy Steps, if the DEV(s) asks you this, it's 99.99% SCAM Shit Tokens worth $0.00:
1 - Follow this or that shit token Twitter + ReTweet this or that.
2 - Join our Telegram channel.
3 - Fill the form.
4 - He doesn't mention the amount which every user will get.
5 - He sent you like 10 or 50, may be 100 if he's " generous " enough out of like 21.000.000 or 5.000.000 total supply.
6 - Says that you " should " buy while it's " undervalued " (i LMAO whenever i see that).
7 - Never make an instant spreadsheet to know whether you're in or not, not talking about later spreadsheets, coz 99% of them are fake.

Now, let's see you're already NOOB & you got in, but not LUCKY enough to get them for FREE & wanna invest (lol on that thought of investment in shit tokens).

Here is the key features to KNOW it's 100% SCAM Shit Token:
1 - Go to EtherDelta & check the Sell Wall, if there is SELL order that are like 5x or 10x the amount each user got in the air drop, NEVER, & i say NEVER invest one single dime from your own pocket, COZ those SELL orders are DEV's GREEDY MOFO SELL orders.

2 - You have 0 chances against those 5x or 10x orders the amount you receive, you can't compete with that, & that's the key of his strategy, making things looks " legitimate " by faking the air drop (with small amounts for each user, that's what he's doing lately).

3 - He'll say at certain stage, usually before/after Air Drop 1 asking you to buy it by sending this or that amount of ETH to AVOID spammers (loooooooool).

4 - Also that Holder program (muahahahahaha) that's the funniest part of all of them.

I hope you NOOBS learned now, those keys are what makes any shit token " SHIT " no matter what they claim otherwise.

Shit tokens Who Have The Same DEV With The SAME LaME & Boring strategy:

Another Shit Token Added (I was aware of it been shit token, but i though he wasn't asshole enough & would make a Fair Air Drop, which didn't happen)
EtherGreen: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2408358.0
The Scam is trick is this way: delaying the air drop for daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaays, literally daaaaaaaaaaaays so he can fuck it slowly & dump it real hard, the price is now worth shit.
Now he's starting the " distribution " lol, haha after making sure it's shit now & worth 0.

That asshole fucked it so hard & so fast, it's worth shit now, too bad i fucking did the translation for you you Greedy Low Life MOFO
18k Sell Order + 2 another 260k+ Sell Orders lol (you do the math)

OMG+: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2403389 (Already deleted his shitty ANN coz it's the shittiest among all of them haha, so he started a new ANN)

LiteCoin Dark: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2349372.0

i can't name them all, it will take ages, BUT you got the point. If any of those Shit Tokens (now or in the future) have that same pattern, they are 100% SCAM & not worth even you filling that form.

Example Of Dumping Diarrhea by That Scamy Greedy MOFO Dev

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Thank you for all your efforts for making this one. This is absolutely right and very helpful to us. Two of those name mention above i recenlty join and yeah they were all scammers they run away other peoples money. And also airdrop that asked for a gas to send the tokens or big chances to get high amount of tokens if you donate. Thats a big no no right?

Bookmarked for future references, since you have shown the true colors those scammers, why not show us examples too of the good tokens. We all know that all newbies around here are not just aiming to get the airdrop but really wanting to invest on new coins, basically altcoins. Thanks for the information.

Good guide to spot the scams.

I'd say that any project that is based on the ethereum network with an ERC20 token and a shitty whitepaper that has been built up from 20 minutes of work is guaranteed to be a scam. Don't even need to do any research.

Especially those that take on another coin's name, like eIOTA, eXMR, even eETH. Do not invest a single cent of your own money into it. Doing the airdrop will probably lead to your info getting sold as well.

thank you for your post. what you have written is very useful.

Why are there no measures to prevent these scam attempts?
Also here on the forum, it seems too easy to open a topic and write "hey come on! this is the coin of the future, sign up and we give you some token! in the next months will be a lot of money!!!"

Of course, there is always the possibility that this coin may be worth something in the future, but is it really worth it?

..and yes... I've just discovered that i been already scammed by one of those!

Alright I read what the OP has to say. I think its pretty good but some people might get some misconceptions about what this is about especially those of you doing altcoin bounties here for the purpose of altcoin payments.

Most of the coins the OP has listed here are being promoted on twitter, facebook and all other blogging sites as well. Now the basis of this is to garner a crowd who is interested in this project. Even though the project does not even have a legitimate team or a goal or any milestone to cover.

Next these so called "devs of the project" pay every promoter with the tokens (read shitcoins) which are trade-able on some decentralized exchange (again a red flag) and then the pump and dump begins.

So end of the day we have another shitcoin that enters the market and gets added to coinmarketcap with a huge bunch of shitheads pumping the coin on every social media that you can think of.

What I would like to emphasize here is that there are many altcoins which are having a legit team and a goal in mind with a group of devs who are actively working on the project. Do no think that if you are doing some altcoin bounty that coin may end up as a shitcoin like above - it may or may not. You have do think about it yourself and decide whether you want to promote them or not.

Yes of course. You have to do your own due diligence on whatever you invest, and if you don't then you really are going to get scammed. If you enter an airdrop then do so with an email that you don't care if you get flooded with ICO spam, and don't put in anything.

If the coin/token is only traded on etherdelta and has nothing special about it, don't ever be the buyer.

The legit projects here are of course excluded, but then nobody will do spreadsheet airdrops for legit projects.

I get a kick out of the ones that require a donation to participate in the airdrop

Same, I'm not donating to any coins. i'll collect the shit coins, maybe make a few bucks here and there if one shoots up.

Thank you all for your feedback, that's the least i can do for this community.

Shit Tokens can be profitable too, YES, that's TRUE, BUT as long as the DEV(s) give FAIr AIR DROP, so chances becomes somehow equal to the communities to make some $$$ out of the thin Air.

Just something i urge you to follow is NEVER, i mean NEVER invest your own money in any project that has no REAL TEAM.

You can always take advantage of those assholes & rip them off too, since they have no shame with their shit token to even make some decent FAIR air Drop.

Good Project to invest in can be this way:
1 - Real Team with real profile (linkedin, twitter, facebook, you name it).
2 - Real project (it depends on how you believe in it of course & how profitable can be for your investment).
3 - Real product ( it can be anything from e-payment system, trading, social platform, anything that gives real service in the future).
4 - Clear Road Map with detailed date lines.
5 - Clear & Understandable White Paper (ALWAYS read the White Paper once, twice & even more before investing on single dime).

Now my 2 the Golden Rules, never invest what you can't afford to loose & NEVER put all your investment / money in one single backet (project).

That whole section of bitcointalk is nothing but one giant clusterfuck of scammers, shitposters, and desperate, dirt-poor idiots who are trying to support themselves by basically doing the laziest non-job you could ever have, posting nonsense on the internet.  They're probably too lazy to go out and beg on the streets--so this is the digital age version of that.  It's disgusting.

I do think most of these projects are either scams or have so little value that they shouldn't exist.  I'm not an altcoin enthusiast, and I honestly don't understand how they work, but I've read project descriptions and also the subsequent scam accusations for quite a few of them.  So I've no doubt they're scammy as shit and need to be avoided.

Totally accurate, they used to share some of the profits with noobs though (which was good thing in the road of learning crypto & how it works), but now they started to become so damn greedy by FAIKNG he air drop (no spreadsheet most of time), they even make ICO for those shit tokens haha, can you believe it !!!

How does that ethereum blue is scam? Did you study about the ethereum blue or you put it in the list because it came from airdrop? I'm with you and your post is right but the ethereum blue is not be considered as shitcoin because it is real project, you can check the whitepaper and the telegram community.

A++ topic, this should be pinned.

I came here from your link on Etherflow.  That one rubbed me the wrong way the instant I saw it, with its airdrop that supposedly ended before the topic was posted.  Some kind of mindgame...
