Can someone please tell me the best 3d Architectural Software available around.
The main purpose i require this is for designing some realistic elevation designs.

3d max.
but it is a bit expensive

Yeah, I do hear that people tend to use 3DS Max for that kind of stuff and I think it's just the way it's built that people like. You just need to pick something that suits you the best, I've used 3D Software before and I definitely prefer Maya. I even got into arguments with the people on my A Level course about it and was extremely close to just telling them to fuck off for having a go at me over my choice of software, particularly when I did more detail and stuff than most of the people there.
