$1.000 for ETH should be possible, but to get that high we need to see bitcoins above $20.000 again when that happens is a good question, I think the crypto market will have changes and people will mostly buy bitcoins and a few altcoins with a good use case, here ETH still have a good chance to be one of the altcoins people will buy.

I think for this year eth is difficult to go up to $ 1k now eth prices are still stuck in the range of $ 150 so for 1k it's still too far away, and if eth reaches $ 1,000 then bitcoin is in the range of $ 20,000 that's fair enough,for 2019 this market is still difficult to grow like in 2017.

The answer is Yes but when? This year? I doubt that. maybe next year?? doubt too, so when? it depends on the progress of the current project and the community and of course depends on the price of bitcoin. Currently, bitcoin prices haven't touched prices above 10000$, so don't expect ethereum back to or hit 1000$ again.

My prediction Ethereum will hit $1000 but not in this years. Bearish market still happening and now ETH price still arround $150 - $160,it's difficult but $500 is a realistic price for ETH in the end of this year.

But what i don't know is when lol.though theres a small sign of bullrun these past weeks but yet ain't enough for us to believe that its here

Looking back to when this thread was started, obviously ETH did go well past $1000, and has since fallen hugely too. But the potential of the coin remains just as strong as ever. I'm very confident that ETH will pass $1000 again.
