Hi all,

I've just recently been getting into the whole cryptocurrency idea, and love the concept. These forums seem like a great source of info as well, so no doubt I'll be spending a lot of time here!

One quick question:

Is there any way of controlling from Bitcoin-qt, which of my addresses a transaction is sent FROM? I'd like it to always send from my 'main', receiving address, not a change address.

The reason I ask is because I have some free plays on Bitmillions and need to send BTC from my 'main' address to use them, but transactions I make now are coming from a different (presumably) change address...?

Thanks guys.

Hi there and welcome. Try googling it; don't just ask and wait for a response.

Don't be a jerk, it's alright to ask those questions here.
This is the newbie board, if you don't like newbie questions just don't visit it.
I remember using a search function and only finding "use the search function" for 3 pages in a row.
Also it's difficult to find out what exactly you have to google for, if you are still new to everything.

Sorry. I'm a bit tired I guess. I tend to ask a lot of questions as I usually spend 10 days searching and only then I ask.
