Well for me, I have this rule that I started about 2 years ago. the rule is "the 2 minute rule'; basically the idea behind this is if you can finish any task regardless of what it is hard or easy, if you can finish it in 2 minutes maximum then you have to do it right away. The benefits of this rule will be your environment will be more decluttered and clean, your time on significant tasks will be more available, you can think well, and you can focus more on what needs to be finished.

Maybe not a simple change, but the change that has made my life better was getting out of the city and away from the masses.  We now have property that has water, trees and open land.  The nearest house to ours is a quarter mile away.  I don't have to interact with anybody if I don't want to.  I don't even know my neighbors name.
