I've been having some troubles with my ModMiner Quad, in windows, I could get it detected and assigned a valid port number using the drivers, but couldn't get it to mine. Setting it all up on linux sounded like it would go much smoother, I got it to detect on linux only to be met with a "no version reply -7" error in cgminer.  I updated the firmware using the wire trick, but after replacing the firmware.bin file, the light stays dim on my board and I cannot get it to reset using the wire trick.  Any help would be very much appreciated, This device is proving to be the biggest headache out of all my devices.

If you got it to show itself on windows, just use the latest bfgminer

it is friendly with modminer
