Is anyone actually involved with Megacoin in New Zealand?

I see that Kimoto setup the website on a NZ domain name.

Itscrazybro may know.
Yes, I currently own the domain.
Kimoto set it up but because there were complaints of the owners name not being on the domain registration I had to take it over as Kimoto didn't want to reveal his identity.

Snakey and co, awesome work on bittrex, looks like it was a success. Now for shapeshift aye?
It's feeling airily like 2013 all over!

If you are a Bitcoin fan it feels much like late 2013. I wish I could be as excited about Megacoin. We need Kimoto!

Thats good to know that someone is in control of the domain anyway!

Im interested to know if Kimoto is bases in NZ or not, perhaps we will never know!

I hope Kimoto comes out of the woodwork with a few more ideas!

Would love to know what he would have planned in his secret project.

My feeling is we will never know much about Kimoto. But I sure hope he becomes an active developer again, and that we eventually know the details of his plan. If we are really fortunate, maybe even see those plans implemented eventually. Not much choice other than to wait and see.

Right now we need our coming core and wallet updates, some solid mining pools, and we need to get on Shapeshift.io.

The 3-day MEC trading trend continues to march upwards.  I've highlighted a few notable current buy orders.

98,602 @ 0.13¥ wants some MEC.  Another 15K MEC order @ 0.128¥.  Another 60K MEC down to 0.125¥.

It's starting to appear obvious that Chinese traders on btc38.com are slowly but meticulously moving the price up.  Is it a pump?  Is it a legit clawback from the bottom?  Stay tuned.

I agree.
In the meantime i hope we get a few more devs onboard, this coin is far from dead.

Megacoin was almost at $3 on BTC38.com an hour or so ago!!!

17.70 CNY    =    2.90435 USD

 Grin

Back to that price soon enough.

Enjoy the cheap coins while it lasts.

That is pretty normal, for now.  cgminer-o (Limx Dev) has a difficulty readjustment fix that will solve this issue.  Big mining pools will no longer be able to pin MEC difficulty in the stratosphere  Cheesy

Looks like you may have been correct about getting us on Bittrex. I have never had much problem with Cryptsy trading MEC in the past, but now there seems to be something bad going on. I only have a few thousand MEC there, but they have apparently established some new rules that limit withdrawals. I have said before I don't like traditional exchanges, but do see a need for them. I hope we can make a push to get listed on Shapeshift soon. Once I get the rest of my coins off Cryptsy, I don't plan to ever trade there again. For now I'm converting all my coins to ones that can be traded on Shapeshift.

I believe 2016 is going to get interesting real fast. BTC is going to go up like a rocket, as will most quality alt-coins.
The fiat scam is about to bust wide open. The 2008 market collapse is going to seem like good times.
