Got a few same emails these days offering to get Bitcoin Gold ,  pretending to be sent from BLOCKCHAIN, and titled   "Claim Bitcoin Gold With Blockchain-Gold Wallet".

It's definetely a fishing attack, trying to steal your password, BE AWARE !

If you point on the Blockchain (FROM field) - you will see this email address: info@smmmsitesi.com

Thankns for the heads up.

It's weird that they are even trying to do this. I mean come on, it's already 2017. Who can't spot such an obvious phishing email, especially when it is sent from different senders EVERY SINGLE DAY? If people are gullible enough to believe this, then they probably don't have any BTC to begin with.

Also it's important to note that there is no timer on the timeframe you can claim your BTG. It's unlimited.

I claimed mine through coinomi, the process was easy and fast.

You are correct, this is also mentioned i a recent guide in Bitcoin Magazin:   "if you want to hold onto your BTG long term, you also don’t need to do anything right now. You can keep using BTC as if nothing happened; just make sure to never lose your private keys."

Yeah, and some people are trying to fool others with it, for example "Electron Gold" steals private keys, when you try to claim BTG :
