I try to mine some BTG but the difficulty is too hard... anyone can suggest any good crypto to mine ?

If your setup for BTG was technically hashing and all, you should be able to mine other Equihash coins w/ that software (Zcash, etc.). Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but you should just need to update config info for new pool and you're good to go.

Yeah mining cryptocurrency is still a good idea , Its was always a good idea you just need to hold till price is good because mining and selling is kinda stupid considering all the profit you might lose but yeah people need to pay their bills , so better hold 50percent of ur minings anyways I am currently mining zcoin since had a nad experience with btg as pool luck and other factors gave me less than i would have made otherwise , and price still decreasing but if the price takes off like bitxoin cash then that would have been hella profitable

You may use online calculators for today's good crypto to mine and decide for yourself. Take note of the Word 'TODAY', as it change time to time

Still a lot of Ethash algo that is profitable than ETH, so for now ETH to POS is rather fuss, no need to worry about, oh btw, I don't mine ETH for a couple of weeks now.

GPU mining is not profitable for btc. You will get more btc by mining other altcoins and then trading those for btc.
Mining crypto is still a good idea. It depends also on what kind of mining equipment you have or can afford.

GPU mining is not profitable for btc. You will get more btc by mining other altcoins and then trading those for btc.

He is tallking about bitcoingold (BTG) which is still interesting to mine on GPU (especialy on nvidia GPUs) and not about Bitcoin (BTC) that it is no longer possible to mine otherwise than with specific ASICS

It is wrong to state unequivocally as you do. I'm sure you don't do mining so you make such a conclusion. In different countries the price of electricity also may vary significantly. Mining in China can be profitable and in Europe can be profitable. So many factors influence the profitability of mining and therefore in each case it is necessary to individually calculate the profitability.

I seem to partially agree with you but am wondering how someone who may not have the resources needed for investment could still participate in the run through mining.
