Great question, +1
I suppose we aren't the only ones who are looking for a bitcoin-friendly tax accountant right about now.
In fact, given my daunting realization of what I might face trying to work out my own bitcoin-related tax liabilities, I came to the following conclusion: being the go-to tax accountant for the bitcoin community may be one of the most lucrative positions in the entire bitcoin economy.
I know a guy who is real good with complex, cutting-edge tax issues, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't know about bitcoin yet. I was thinking of pitching him the idea of going into the "bitcoin tax accountant" business.
Imagine a guy who already is a top-notch tax accountant, and specialist in complex trading or international tax situations, who is also fully versed in bitcoin and related tax issues, who you could deal with over email/chat from anywhere, and pay in BTC ... I suppose there'd be interest here for something like that?
