Hey all.

I just received an Antminer S7 with PSU and GekkoScience breakout board from Asicpuppy.net.

Included:
(1) HP PSU
(1) Antminer S7
(1) GekkoScience board
(7) Six-prong power cables

How do I know where to plug the cables?

The Antminer has three receptacles per hashing board and one up top by the AntMiner logo, totaling 10.

The GekkoScience board has four rows of three receptacles, totaling 12.

It seems like one power cord would go to the top controller-jobby and then six would go... elsewhere.  And how do I know where they go on the breakout board?

I don't want to brick the thing before I even get it started!   Tongue

Thanks!

On the breakout use any PCIe plugs you want. They are all the same. On the miner, yes 1 cable to the controller and at least 2 cables (pref 3) to each hash board. Doesn't matter which on the boards, they are all tied together on the boards.

Pretty bullet-proof hook up.

Awesome!  That was kinda what I was suspecting, based on what I'd read -- but I was too afraid of ruining the thing to jump in and try it.

Thanks, NotFuzzyWarm!
