If you make it a fair release, with good support, no (large) premine and places to mine / spend / trade it doesn't matter how many coins are released in one day, yours will stand out.

If you make it a fair release, with good support, no (large) premine and places to mine / spend / trade it doesn't matter how many coins are released in one day, yours will stand out.

as for now its on standby. i'm trying to get a hold of kimoto or hyoshi or possibly some other dev who's interested in partnering up. and as to the premine issue i kinda have to premine my share other wise i will never get any of the coin since i don't have mining hardware. nothing is set in stone so far. i've tentatively set the cap at 800 million coins with a 4 mil premine, but i'm still trying to calculate whether this is to much or too little. i don't want to take too much and look greedy, but i don't want to take to little and end up with nothing after bounties and i'd also like to have enough for any unforseen need in the future, like one idea i've been playing with was taking 2 milion and putting it into an address and exporting the private key and holding a cryptobin cracking contest. i might make the gen block an extra 2 mil for a giveaway to ease the gripe of such a high premine amount, but i also was thinking about taking 2 million more for a reserve of some type in case for instance the coin dies for some reason, i could do another giveaway to revive it. i might have to think long and hard about it before i make a decision.
