So currently swapping out my 1060’s on my hobby rig for 1070ti’s set a good clock for the first two 1070ti’s and it ran for days with no problems. Now i have swapped a third 1060 out for a 1070ti claymore restarts every couple of hours with illegal memory access errors. I have lowered the clock by 100 (down to +700) and its still happening.

Just cant understand why the first two cards would take it and the third causes problems. All the 1070ti’s are the same, EVGA 1070ti SC with Micron memory.

It can be a problem not only in overclocking but also with undervolting. Try again to increase the power on this card.

The card is damaged maybe, can you check it with another pc?

Similar cards to have difference in clocking its not a rare thing. I have a lot of 1070(not ti) with Micron memory and they are not the same when it comes to overclock.
Some are stable at +700 others cant pass 650.

what Power Supply do you have?
try tp put everywhere PL @70% and run all three cards without overclocking
if they would work without glitches,  then your power supply is not good enough

Well ive stopped all my other cards from mining and only had the newest (suspected problem card) running and it gave an error. So reduced the clock and increased the power and ran all the cards. Im still getting the same problem.

remember this:
if you buy 10 gpus, for example 10 rx 470 sapphire nitro + 4gb, you'll need to tweak it one by one.
every gpu is different, even if it was build with the same hardware parts!

Yea i get that. Just seriously frustrating. Ive stopped the suspect gpu from mining in claymore and seeing how it runs. Hopefully it will prove that its this card thats the problem.
