I am a newbie in this cryptocurrency trading world, at this moment i acquired most of my tokens and coins thru airdrops and bounties campaign. Most of these tokens are ERC20 Ethereum based token and i discovered that etherdelta.com was my most preferred exchange site for trading from erc20 tokens to ethereum. It is decentralized and it is blazingly fast transactions and very minimal fee. No other requirement to join and less likely to hold all your tokens, you are in control all of your tokens.

I think now people have switched to bitcoin trading no longer pay attention to altcoin anymore so the market is not as vibrant as some months ago. Also, many people are moving to invest in ico.
