The ‍scammers  are waiting to steal your money ‍around you. You should know that they are very intelligent but dishonest. You must be more and more conscious about them. Never loses your again by such a foolish work.

I deserve that I guess. I'm well aware of the mistake I made (I'm sure the OP is too). I'll definitely be more careful going forward - kicking myself still at the moment.

anyone else?

Well that can't be help if you are just a newbie here in the cryptocurrency world  Grin Grin
You can't do anything about it, it was already on to someone's wallet and I bet he will never give it back because that was easy money. All you have to do is to move on and never do the same mistake again, I guess.

always keep your investment to the safe and trusted wallet like electrum coinbase to avoid risk of your money, need to take care of your money because  have many people want to get easy money, have alot of scammer around there i suggest investigate  first the cridebility and reputation  of people involve  in the company before put your money to become safe.

This is one of the reason, I’ve never trust a developers of a fork coin. Anyway I don’t support that copycat shitcoin since before I’ve become aware of they’re tendency to make fool of everyone’s hardwork bitcoin be in this situation. That’s a lesson learned to you and anyone else that trusting those hype promises of doing a better version of bitcoin is nothing but a shameful reality of scammers. So take a look back at this moment when in the future you find yourselves be excited to participate again in the forking.

When they announce about creating a clone of Bitcoin entire blockchain, mate you'd get scammed just by trusting these outrageous claims, if you turn off

Your computer and think deeply about this situation, you'd ask yourself:>> why would anyone spend their money to donate to every Bitcoin holder? no one

Official capacity or otherwise has ever endorsed such chain splits. is that not an alarm for you?

I think you should be keen in selecting reputable wallet address and one thing is never reveal your private keys everytime you go in internet cafe. Thats only an example because mostly that is cases of hacking account forgetting to sign out.

Of course, the new wallets are insecure, because the development and encryption of these new wallets are inherently low and are likely to be stolen from bitcoin, so in the end it is advisable to use a well-known and longer-lived wallet.

Heads up, I saw on Twitter yesterday that Coinomi successfully contacted NameCheap and got them to take down a scam website. Since mybtgwallet.com is also registered at NameCheap, I contacted them and they had me open a ticket with their legal department. I asked for the site to be reviewed/taken down and pointed them to this thread for details.

We'll see what happens. No chance we'll get our funds back but at least we might put a stop to it.
