The 0,99 price would be fantastic, unfortunately there's some VAT to add on it... and some import duties!

Hello,
short update:
you can buy directly, no GB, no minimum they will be in stock within the EU. shipping will be from Germany with DHL oder registered priority mail
But friedcats update was a little bit surprising for me. Because there are still a few things to clarify. Must first talk to him and my business partner
Prices are not set yet. We will try to make the same price as the canadian reseller So only a rough estimate:
1 unit 1,19 >=10 units 1,09 >=50 units 0.99 excluding shipping
DHL parcel within EU: ~15€ registered priority mail, worldwide: ~6€ both with tracking
will look into express and insured shipping options this week
Is there a interest for purchasing usb hubs, Raspberry Pi and sdcards with a ready to mine image together with the miners?
so pls give me a few days, thx
best yxt

friedcats Unit price before: 1.99 BTC The Price per Unit of the Great Britan group Buy from Augusto Groppo was: 2.1 BTC excl. shippinghttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195540.msg2568118#msg2568118...so tell me guys how it that Possible? England has a VAT of 20%? If Augusto Croppo really pays the 20% VAT then the price per Unit should be at least 2.388 BTC excl. shippingany clues? Edit: please correct me if there is something wrong with the maths. Augusto Croppo did not pay 20% VAT (import duty) on the price. (Obviously) Its my understanding friedcat has some other way of avoiding it as mentioned by someone else in this topic. Sorry not trying to drop anyone in it.

maybe he paid VAT but a very small amount because Friedcat valued the Units as less than 5$ (just an estimation) per Piece. So I'm wondering why do we should pay VAT on about 100$ ( 1 Unit )?
I'd agree with you on that.

Interesting news from BTC Guild site:
USB Block Erupter (ASICMINER) Sales Starting this weekend, BTC Guild will be selling ASICMINER's USB Block Erupters at excellent prices. Block Erupters are small ASICs powered entirely by a USB port, which mine at 330 MH/s each.
Block Erupters will be sold at a cost of 1 BTC each, with shipping based on the size of the order (0.03 BTC for 1-3, 0.08 for 4-9, 0.15 for 10+). Sales through the website will be restricted to US based customers, but special arrangements can be made via email for international customers.
Block Erupters are an excellent replacement for GPU miners. While a GPU produces large amounts of noise, heat, and draws significant amounts of power, a USB miner makes no noise and pulls less than 2.5 watts of power.
Block Erupter sales are NOT pre-orders. While in stock they will ship out within 24 hours via First Class or Priority USPS with tracking, likely showing up anywhere in the US within 5 business days. If stock runs out, notice will be given on the order page that an additional 5-7 business day delay may be required before shipping. June 25th, 2013

From friedcat: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=217104.msg2280990#msg228099027 May 2013, 04:54:50 This is the information thread of sales for our Block Erupter USB sticks. New Sales Policy Customers in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Please contact forum member rockxie(with e-mail address: rockxie@gmail.com), whose RRP is agreed by us. Customers in Canada Please contact forum member teek, whose RRP is agreed by us. Customers in EU, Switzerland and North Europe non-EU countries Please contact forum member yxt, whose RRP is agreed by us. Customers in the rest of the world Minimum Order Volume of 50 USB sticks. Price of 0.99 each. 2% sent as redundancy (not in warranty). Shipping is free. If you reach the total volume of 1,000 USB sticks, price is dropped to 0.89 each. We will also pay back the price difference of all your historic transaction (timeline started from the 0.99 pricing) of USB sticks. For example, if you bought more than 1,000 sticks, 500 for 1.99 and 500 for 0.99, the new price will be 0.89, and we will pay you the price difference for the 0.99 USB sticks, that is (0.99-0.89)*500=50BTC. If we get an excluding deal with resellers in some certain countries we will stop directly supply USBs towards there, as in the case of China zone, Canada zone, and EU zone.
