Well with that said, being new to the cryto world in 3 weeks , I dove in.

Now I found myself missing 12 LTC I tried to transfer from my coin base to my trezor.

I had no issues transferring the btc from the coinbase to the Trz.  So I thought LTC would be the same.

Well I did the scan and send , but it never wound up in my trezor ?  I then seen that there is some new configure to the address while sending.  And that guys is where Im lost........ So I thought I would look into a forum.

Having been to many forums, cars, bikes, ect.  This one seems to have a huge base.  I did look around for a while before posting.

So hello all,, and if there is someone that can help me out here, please do.

I have the emails to the address it was sent, just don't know how to get it done.

It was way easy to do with btc,, from coinbase to trezor.... not so much with litcoin.  And my eth, I didn't even try that.  Too many fields to pick from and I don't know one from the other.

So that there can give you a base from where I stand with my current knowledge base.

Thank You,  and really looking into learning about this crypto!

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Hi and welcome. This is actually a good forum and you really can learn a lot from other people here. My suggestion is to read a lot before playing with your money!  Wink
and, of course, do not blindly trust what you read in here, but always do your research and double-check with other sources

Thank you!

and have a nice day

Did you actually send the LTC to an LTC adress, or a BTC adress? It seems that LTC is only supported in the beta version of TREZOR? https://beta-wallet.trezor.io/

It should work just fine now that i'm reading more about it.

Could you link the transaction id of your LTC transfer?

Could you see what they said? They sent it using the scan and send feature, how would such feature allow them to use a "BTC" address if they chose "LTC" itself?

@OP, can you please share the "public" LTC address that you received on your trezor to send your coins at?

Simply cause i can't imagine what the problem could be, other then sending it to the wrong adress. He might have sent litecoin to a bitcoin segwit adress?

In which case, you should try this tool, https://blog.trezor.io/recover-coins-guide-bitcoin-litecoin-78da0d290c79

EDIT: OP just pmed me that his issue has been resolved.

I'm sure I'm going to look back at this in the next few months and go,,,,,OMG  look how far I have came.
There is a lot to learn, and sometimes I feel like I'm learning a new language.

I'm excited to learn more and more.

This might be helpful for others.

No problem, glad i could be of any assistance.

I'm still wondering how you managed to scan a btc adress instead of LTC though...  Huh
