I have seen the continual PUMP of BTX for days here on the 'talk' thread, but this is MINING specific

All paths to BTX 'bitcore' or whatever U want to call it all point to 'ccminer' and say to use --algo timetravel

But in general that doesn't work, then on other mining sites than btx.suprnova.cc, they say to use --algo bitcore, which works sometimes on solo cards but crashes on working rigs

When it is working on solo cards it jumps every few minutes from blake , ...groetzel, to sha, to lbry, to bumfuk,  this or that,

There is NO documentation for the also 'timetravel'

There is NO documentation for the BTX brother 'machinecoin' which seems to be the same thing?

***

The websites for BTX is some kind of ICO generator, is MINIING even real? or did they just create the faux notion of minability to make this ICO legitimate?

I asked yesterday about mining BTX and got zero answer, thought  I would again today

WhatToMine.com is Reporting $25/day for mining at 200MH/S, not shabby if true, but unusable

It appears the ccminer is the only code that supports this un-documented algo,

I mean come on, no white papers? I thought that was a required check-list for shit-coins?

BTX is trading at $25 and it up 50% from a few days ago, so the coin is being 'whaled' no doubt, very interesting coin, but can it actually be mined?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Yes, Just tested it in my 1080ti, using ccminer

I'm mining with sgminer at suprnova pool.

sgminer.exe -k timetravel10 -o stratum+tcp://btx.suprnova.cc:3629 -u youruser -p yourpsw -I 16 -g 2

I have one amd rx580. Hashrate 11.35 Mh/s. Estimated reward in whattomine is 0.002574 btx/hour but the real thing is 0.00146283. Moving to another coin.

Sure that's not the POINT, it works GREAT on single GPU's, its when U go to rigs that it fails! OK??

Stratum difficulty set to 16 (0.06250)
[2017-11-18 17:04:45] GPU #2: result for 5d307705 does not validate on CPU!
[2017-11-18 17:04:46] GPU #4: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, 587.72 MH/s
[2017-11-18 17:04:46] GPU #4: an illegal memory access was encountered
Cuda error in func 'cuda_check_cpu_setTarget' at line 41 : an illegal memory access was encountered.

First I thought it might be just suprnova, but now I'm using bitcorepool.cc and its the same, runs 5 minutes dies like above

Cmd line is ..

tpruvot$ ccminer/ccminer -a bitcore -o stratum+tcp://bitcorepool.cc:1111 -u SatoshiND2iBxU9QwjvSJcE46jDywVRAG707 -p x

ccminer/ccminer --version
*** ccminer 2.2.2 for nVidia GPUs by tpruvot@github ***
Built with the nVidia CUDA Toolkit 9.0 64-bits

Originally based on Christian Buchner and Christian H. project
Include some kernels from alexis78, djm34, djEzo, tsiv and krnlx.

ccminer v2.2.2
libcurl/7.47.0 OpenSSL/1.0.2g zlib/1.2.8 libidn/1.32 librtmp/2.3

Newest build with cuda 9.0,

Could be the 9.0, I would hate to drop all my ccminers back down to 8.0 just to fix this problem

OK, I repeat the problem is NOT solo GPU's, the problem is on rig's,

As U know U don't make any money mining single rigs, so I don't find that interesting

The problem is NOT solo-GPU the problem is RIGS,

Also I seen the exact same results on suprnova.cc and bitcorepool.cc:1111

Well the price plummeted today, so its actually no longer very profitable to mine Sad

May be it is better way to go to BTX thread and ask your questions. All people successfully mine BTX for several months.
To be more precise - your problem lies between your chair and the table.

ROFL, this made my day, it is indeed his chair and tables culprits.

Oh by the way, the image I posted is a rig with 3 GPU's, 2 1080ti mining btx and 1 rx480 mining xmr. I crop the image to show only that BTX mining is possible.

Suggest to try https://www.bitcorepool.cc

Download links for ccminer and sgminer on the page.
Also possible to use SPMOD2 which gives higher hashrate on Nvidia cards.
