well, nobody expects it. but, of course bitcoin has that potential. and of course it will affect many things, especially altcoin. when that happens, a lot of altcoin has the potential to rise above the bitcoin price. such as Bitcoin cash.

Yes and honestly even lower than that. Everything is possible to happened and going back to $3,000 is closed to reality. Now what should be some of the reasons why it can happened?

- FUD that is not really a FUD

But on the other hand, it doesn't mean that a price crash will continue since $3,000 level is still 4 digits and can considered as decent price of bitcoin. What next after crashing $3,000? We don't know...

Yes the possibilities are really there because bitcoin value is unpredictable and unstable anything can happen to it at any time this things maybe normal for many as a part of bitcoin activities but for some it is something they are afraid of. Bitcoin value can increase so high and can also decrease so much but the good thing so far this cycle always end up with bitcoin having a much higher value in the market

I don't agree with your opinion. If there is such a drop in the price of bitcoin that most altcoins will not survive. They all depend on bitcoin. It seems to me that while bitcoin will go down some altcoins will die and their capital is to stop the decline in the prices of bitcoin. I don't believe in such a pessimistic scenario. Bitcoin have very big potential.

it is volatile but there should be any issue on bitcoin find the value as that much low as op expected.
If you think that bitcoin price is not sure according to your view means you should keep away from forum by earning bitcoin go to invest on fiat.
I hope that bitcoin will bump more than we see in the chart and the value will be in the 10k USD before this year ends.

Certainly not. There seems no possibility of dropping down to such a price within this year.Earlier this year, there wee two situations when it could have happened.First when china banned ICOs and took strict actions against bitcoin exchanges.Second, when BCH was vigorously pumped and miners switched to mine BCH and investors started moving to BCH.But in both the situations, bitcoin survived. So,there seems no immediate threat for bitcoin now.
Every attack on bitcoin has really shown investors the level of the strength bitcoin community has and that obviously is making the market a very interesting one to move into right now. Even after the China's FUD, the little impact got filled up quickly as most people saw a very good chance for them.

That is something that would hardly ever happen again. The market is getting extremely solid right now and there is no way the value can get that low ever again.

Bitcoin strength comes from the community and that is what makes it what it is today and as long as there would keep being investors that would want it to work against all the pranks and attacks of government, then there is no way bitcoin would get to that level. The reasons why we have been having so many corrections right now is to test the support and so far so good, the support is growing solidly stronger than years before.

It may drop for short time due to a turbulence, similar to recent attack from Bitcoin cash developers.  But them regain.

BUT it may go to $1 million !

I guess everything is possible with BTC, the best like the worst. However, dropping to 3.000 USD can be a good thing for investors  Wink
Do you think it would even get lower up to that before investors see a chance to quickly pick up ? There is a way market works and unless they create a huge FUD that caused a very serious impact which I doubt can ever happen at this stage no matter the FUD, then there is absolutely no way the value can get as low as that. You will be extremely lucky to even get it at $5000 right now.

No certainly not seems it because it demands all over the world is increasing and people are investing a large number of bitcoins in it so it sems that price will be rising but fall to such level as you mention.
The demand is pretty high right now, the big players are getting interested which in itself will cause more adoption. How then do we expect that such a value at $3000 can ever happen? There are some things we should not even bother wishing for anymore, and rather than wishing for a lower value, it is best to buy now and join the investors who are wishing to sell their coins above $190,000.

Can bitcoin drop to $3000?

It can if all hodler suddenly sell all their Bitcoin and cause a large scale drop in pricing. As of today, there are no indication that the price will go down up to that level. No forks ahead and Bitcoin is now gaining a stronghold in the world due to its features.

Wow, that might happen only in your dreams because there's no possibility. Bitcoin is now stronger than ever and I see no way of it falling down back to $3000.

AT present situation the chances are slim unless if US or Japan bring some stringent policy which could impact the btc demand and the price. Also Christmas is around the corner and prices are set to take a further rise unless some world wide negative news is around which can bring the price down.

Majority will say that $3,000 is low now from the current price. There is still a chance that it can drop too low and quick but I'm not confident if ever that happens. I want bitcoin to stay on it's new floor of $8,000 and the chances of what I can see of seeing it right now is .... I can't give a definite percentage or ratio of it's drop to $3,000. Let's all be happy that bitcoin is reaching new all time high's.

It's not at all possible to change of 3000$ ,now the value is 8100$.Are you saying there is 5100$ reduce in a single day.It takes month to this happen.Rome was not built in a single day.The price raise takes a 5 months. So the price of bitcoin will not reach 3000$ in single day.

we cannot say that it has a very low percent to happened cause that scenario already happened  on this month but after two days .  Or three i think it recover and surpass 7k again . So maybe it will happened again maybe not know maybe soon when there are some causes that can make some panic selling from the market . Or maybe another reason that can make bitcoin value  back to 3k.

I reason with you to some point. However, one thing we should understand is that, there is some certain level of FUD that would really shake the bitcoin atmosphere that huge. Most people have known better these days than to believe in FUDs and most of the ones that have happened in the past, just kept creating a stronger community.

Except we end up having an attack which basically will evolve from exchanges, then I do not see how bitcoin would get that low from FUDs at this stage.

Everybody is looking upward now and $3000 is looking less and less probable. Maybe we should be cautious. On the other hand, with too much caution you'll miss out on these massive gains.

Bitcoin's value is surely unpredictable and there are some things that we may not expect but can end up happening. However, unless people totally lose trust in bitcoin, I doubt if we can see such a scenario playing out before it gets taken back by the stronger hands. We are the ones that have placed that value on it and unless it seems invaluable to us anymore, then why would anyone want to dump ? FUDs can only create very little impact at this stage.

As we inch closer to $10000 this year, the price getting down to $3000 is very slim. That would be like more than 50% of the current price so its unlikely to happen. A simple drop of 10-15%, people are already rushing to get and buy bitcoin because most of us really feel that bitcoin's future is really bright. And even in such an attack that we have seen Bitcoin Cash try to pull thorough, bitcoin didn't nudge although the price went to $5600, investors are really quick to think the opportunity to get it back while the price is at a discount. So in my opinion, we will not get bitcoin going down again to $3000.
