How will the banks stand in 5 - 10 years? Due to the advancing developments of the blockchains, the increasing possibilities of transactions between supplier and buyer without the intervention of banks, in any kind of cryptocurrency, possibilities for loans, I think fiat will play an increasingly smaller role. Of course this will not only affect banks, but also the influence of governments on the financial markets.
