It's a shame that I can't post a picture of it because of my rank, but I was monitoring this price for EmerCoin since yesterday. There's someone who is clearly manipulating the price at 9337. The demand for the coin at that price is 3.4 million, someone is buying $2.5 million worth of EmerCoin at that price.
If you don't believe me, just have a look at the chart and see if the coin ever goes under 9337 satoshis.
In my opinion, the only risk is the spread that you pay for a coin that doesn't have a high volume. As I mentioned in my other post, I already bought EMC, your call Wink

If someone bought $2.5mil of a coin with a market cap of 3.4 mil I'm staying well away! They'll be dumping bags big time.

EmerCoin is a good call, I think it will increase in value very soon, something about a hard fork coming up on the 30th of November, if I recall correctly.

Generally, seems like a sound project with great growth potential Smiley

Well, it's not that he bought $2.5mil, I explained it in a bad way. He has an offer of $2.5m at that price. So, for the price to go down, sellers must fulfill that offer first, that's why it is almost impossible for the price to go below 9337.
Excluding that someone sells $2.5mil at that price and fulfill the demand, the only other possible scenario for the price to go down is that that buyer remove the offer.
Anyway I made my 5%, now I'll buy again near 9337 and repeat again and again Smiley

It may make sense to invest in EMERCOIN
because emercoin is trading on some big stock exchanges, for example: bittirex, livecoin, cryptopia ...

Its also one of the more time tested coins, not frequently spoken about. I personally don't really know what emercoin is about though, I do know some ICO projects copied their code.
I was interested in buying some earlier but since I got no clue what this thing is or does, then meh.. still gotta get over this technical handicap I have to really be able to dig the gems from the dirt.

Gee... 5% gain? With a cryptocurrency?  How did you pull that one off?  Grin

No seriously, 5% is like the fluctuations in 5 minutes on your average altcoin.  50% kind of advice.  That's another ballgame.

A 5% return on a transaction is an acceptable profit. But for long-term development, the need for longer term profits. But thank you for sharing. Look forward to receiving more information from you.

No I will not buy it. In fact 5-10% gain in short term through trading or holding does not worth because if you fail, you lose a lot which is far more than gain.

This statement makes no sense.
If you buy at 9337 and the coin goes under 9337, even 9336, you quit and you lose nothing but the commission, that is 0.25% on bittrex.
If you compare the risk to the reward, I'd say that it is the opposite of what you wrote Smiley
