I would choose to buy ETH as market prices tend to be stable and have smart contracts.

I will hold both ETH and BTC, half for ETH and half for BTC, which will limit the risk if I suddenly need money! If I need money and only hold ETH, but now BTC is increasing and ETH is down, I have to sell it then I will lose capital!

I think Ethereum has more chances to grow up. This is due to the fact that bitcoins are under very serious pressure
from central banks and financial regulators of many countries. Moreover, ETH is a second-generation crypto currency, it's more perfect than bitcoin.

Now it is dangerous to keep your capital in cryptocurrency. I sold my Ethereum for dollars in January. Now I am happy about this. The price fell very much.

both currencies can both grow and fall. For us, a decrease in the rate of BTC / ETH with a decrease in two pairs will mean that bitcoin depreciates faster than the air, with growth - the air rises in price faster than bitcoin. The ether will be the best choice for attachments!!!

I think it makes more sense to keep Ether. Because Ether will be superior to the rising rates between them. For example Bitcoin 3x will make ether 5x easily. I think this will happen in 6 months.

That is, according to your words, those who invest in Ethereum do not get anything, and those who invest in bitcoin - strive to lose money? Strange wording is a thought, but here is my opinion, you can in any case lose money and you can in any case earn money and a salary depends on your responsibility and sense of security. Ie you invest in bitcoin or in the Ethereum .

This is good simple explanation and very reasonable.
Etherium and bitcoin are both very profitable but as we know bitcoin is high price, for person like me who have small amount of capital, i will choose etherium and i will not cash out before hitting high price.

Yes, I hold more ETH, it looks bitcoin just a bit. Because bitcoin has a lot of fluctuations, it can be very beneficial, but it also means higher risk. I like to keep up with the ETH because the improvements and routes are always up to date and still on the move towards the future. values, trends, user communities all show that it is a very good choice to hold.

Bitcoin is also the same mate with etherium.
If you said that bitcoin is high risk so etherium also high risk.
I never think that cryptocurrency is low risk because all of them high risk high return.
But as bitcoin and etherium have high marketcap so they have a bit lower risk compare with the other.
I also like to choose more etherium because its lower price now.

I have always preferred to hold Bitcoin but that is because I understand the fundamentals and the technology a lot better. With Ethereum it is a good bet as well, but because I don't understand the tech, I don't back it heavily.

I prefer to hold ethereum because of its stable price than the bitcoin. Recently bitcoins price is has a large pullback. Also ethereum has a high stability than bitcoin, it can be used as platform in other cryptocurrency and ethereum has quicker transaction medium in the Blockchain.

The recent bitcoin price volatility is particularly large, but the price of eth has been very stable, you choose to buy eth or bitcoin?
 Tongue Tongue Tongue

The ethereum price may more stable than bitcoin, but doesn't guarantee you to make more profit from it.
Ethereum price is stable because eth is used by many ICO's to crowdfunding their project.

Non-hodler of either, apart from maybe $1000 in leftover BTC from exit at 10k after 3-4 years of continuous acquisitions. Basically emotionally disconnected from cryptos now. I've been keeping an eye on # of transactions but I simply can't figure out where these transactions are occurring. Where is Ethereum being used as a transfer of value or trade for goods/services? It seems to me that thus far only Bitcoin has been adopted in any capacity that makes it possible to spend with retailers and service providers. Is there a list of retailers/service providers that accept Ethereum?

I'm not unfamiliar with black markets, either, and at this point while many venders are accepting Ethereum as an option, the majority of transactions seem to be by Bitcoin or Monero.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like the Ethereum transaction stats are still almost entirely relegated to ETH:fiat and ETH:various other cryptos. Is that wrong? If it's not, is that the actual utility of cryptocurrency? I would think not.
This is my opinion

For goodness sake why can't people stop the bickering between Bitcoin and Ethereum. Neither extremes are good. Both will prosper in synergy. Bitcoin is the internet of money while Ethereum will tokenize everything. The future will be awesome. We should join forces and oppose Ripple instead. Banks got us into this mess, and juvenile "my blockchain is better than yours" bullshit is exactly what they want; divide and conquer. Let's rise above.
