I will choose to hold ETH because I can buy more with my money and it will rise more than BTC so I can make more profi. And that is what I want. And I will buy other alts to make more maney.

If it's about buying, i'll of course buy bitcoin. But if you talk about holding, i hold both of them though. Since both are really great and give me big profits in return.
I tend to sell, trade the other alt coins, not bitcoin and eth because they're precious and i don't want to lose them lol.
But i still choose bitcoin over eth, and if i really need to do that i prefer selling my eth rather than selling my bitcoin. Bitcoin price sure really unpredictable and i don't want to regret it if it's suddenly high but i sell my btc already.

I choose to hodl Ethereum for a number of reasons, I believe it will be one of the very few coins that will survive in the end.

I choose both to hold.Because those price are increasing and those price already reached huge amount of money.Holding for short time,I choose Eth but for long term I choose Bitcoin.

I am currently holding both, Bitcoins volatility is quite at large recently but it's value is still quite appealing. Both coins are really profitable and advantageous over the other. Although Ethereum has been very stable indeed, this is my long term coin of choice. While with bitcoin i am selling a portion of it as soon as it pumps and the price is right, although I've notice recently that bitcoin recovers quite rapidly. This just makes things a lot more interesting. |

I am invested in shitcoins for the moment. But its advisable to keep atleast 30% of your crypto in btc as we never know if it decides to make a huge surge then alts can go to the floor. Eth also falls under shitcoins for me, I am in her to earn btc.
Yes keep atleast 30% open your crypto because it has potential to grow more and since bitcoin is rising continuously. But its better if you hold ethereum because this coin has potential to rise in value and when you see it the market you will see the pumping of it, also it has potential to be profitable. |

I'm holding both right now but 50% of my investment is in ethereum bought it at 800$ considering the price growth right now i already made a huge profit and i will continue to hold it until it reached my desired price to sell portion of it and to buy some altcoins.

If possible, hodl both. Both coins are strong and have heavy public support behind.
If not possible, go for BTC. Sure, Eth has been growing a lot, offer a lot more possibilities than BTC. But BTC is the first, the pioneer, it will hold its fame and rise in value because it was there before any other coin. People know what Bitcoin is, but just crypto people know about ethereum. Also, this website is not called EtherTalk for a reason.
Like many people have mentioned here, if you want to get huge profits on a small time period go for shitcoins pump and dump. It is risky but so far the rewards have shown to be bigger than the risks. For those wanting to make a safer, long term investment I'd recommend solid ICOs. Answering the dude that posted about Cointed: go for it, they are awesome, and I am sure it will be worth a lot in the future. But hodl it, this is a good investment so have patience. There are other really good ICOs and coins around, you just need to do A LOT of research before buying it. Always read the whole whitepaper before a purchase.

As for me, I would prefer to hold ethereum due to its rate of increase in the market. I believe in no time it will meet up with bitcoin and might even overtake bitcoin.

Bitcoin and Ethereum have the high ranges for the price. They both are capable of exceeding their limits and bringing a huge amount of profit to the holders of this fantastical coins. Bitcoin is fluctuating a lot but in short period of time it has grown to the unexpected values and it will grow even higher this year. Ethereum is close to the stable but its slow growth is also attracting the investors towards it. I am personally favoring Bitcoin more because it exists longer then Ethereum and because of the Bitcoin Ethereum became what it is today. Ethereum has also chances of growing in the value this year but it takes some time longer to reach the price the Bitcoin has today.

Due to the high speculation in the price of bitcoin, buying now will be a very good thing to do, cause of the recent and continuous little rise and drop in price. I will buy ETH now instead of BTC, ETH is more stable and rise continuously. Having the two coins, holding is the best thing to do now. |

I choose ethreum over bitcoin. It is good to hold eth while it's price is still low because for sure its price in the next few months would increase though both coins are profitable in the long run.

You need to diversify the risk by holding, this is true. I also try to have both of them, but they're both expensive coins. It's not easy to buy them with our own fiat money here. |
