But there is no "quasi peg", just a waffly article about why it would be a good idea in his view, and the fact his company "BitPay" no longer uses MtGox for price quotes, but a composite price from several exchanges. "Big wow" as we used to say at school.

Using price quotes from a number of exchanges in not a peg in round, square, or triangular form. Its just a composite price.
