Hi All,

In the wake of BTC continuing to rise I was curious who still has money frozen on the Vircurex exchange? Personally I have 13 BTC still stuck, sadly with today's current valuation that's equivalent to 100k. If any attorney's happen to stumble across this post I'm more than happy to pay a hefty sum if you think you can present a valid case.

Would love to get a thread going on other people affected and what we might be able to do about it...

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Wow. I completely forgot about this. For what its worth, it might be worthwhile to find others in the same boat and start with a class-action lawsuit against them. I know something similar happened with Cryptsy so perhaps the same could be done here...

Thanks, I've actually been in the process of doing just that from forums here and Reddit. I have a lot of info about the website, where it's hosted, and the owner still posts here (Kumala). Just haven't found the right attorney to take the case.

I just have a few measely litecoins with them, but those are still frozen funds for already a couple of years.

Make this happen and I will also fund it. Something needs to be done about this.

Start a cryptsy class action thread or something..

I don't really know anything about the vircurex situation but I know that if I had that much "stuck" somewhere I would be beating on someones door somewhere..
