Heard it was happening within hours according to what coinbase has posted about it occurring today.
After waiting for weeks for it to happen
so yeah it is happening today sometime.

Since coinbase and other exchanges have halted all transfer to and from their customers accounts immediately.

Segwit2x chain is already lagging behind by 25 blocks and only 7% around miners are in support of segwit2x. According to coin.dance forked chain is unlikely to extend from current block of 494783.
