I keep seeing this kind of topic everytime bitcoin rally starts.
Altcoins are doing great, they were all pumped over months nearly all summer. Just a bit of correction was necessary. Now there will healthier prices.

It's the same thing over and over again.
2018 will be a great year for altcoins, with the interest and price gain for btc there will be more interest in altcoins as well.

I don't think that. Altcoins does not create a huge growth likes Bitcoin. But if you are good at trading, you also can earn much money fron altcoins.

Well i agree on you i believe that altcoin can never be dead because it is really a  big part of the crypto world maybe some other people think that altcoin is perishable but i dont really agree on them altcoin is really slowly getting more popular also in terms investing.I believe also in altcoin and maybe someday it can really surpass bitcoin .

Dont be ridiculous it takes more than that stop all the altcoins to be invested with. Investors come and go. ETH has good impact on all altcoins. So it might not be the right time for now.

Altcoins are not dead at all. In fact they are just beginning. More and more people are becoming aware of not only Bitcoin but altcoins as well. I think we can expect more growth in alts this year,

They are much alive and continuously kicking and many of them had recent price surges like ethereum, litecoin, ripple, cardano, tron and many others. Many investors are looking for potential altcoins that will seen to perform well in the future. Some coins might die but majority of them will continue to be alive.

yup the bitcoin has fallen from 80% market cap to 40% this year certainly points to alt coins  demise  

Altcoins that have real world application like ether, miota, ltc, ripple, golem etc will survive.

Altcoins existence are to support Bitcoin. We can take an example Ethereum where using same blockchain technology as bitcoin and decentralised. Ethereum that runs ‘smart contracts’, which means it can facilitate the exchange of money, content, property, shares, or anything of value.
Another, Dash coins which has been popular since 2014 and been accepted on some merchant https://www.dash.org/merchants.
That's why altcoin's will not dead and will still live to supporting Bitcoin.

yeah me too. i didnt agree to op when he says altcoin are dead because as i can see majority of altcoins and tokens are now pumping and increasing. 2018 is indeed the best time to start for altcoins, not just altcoins but also in bitcoin because bitcoin is also recovering and now starting to hike again to reach its new all time high. although we may still prepare and not to be confident all because sooner or later they can still unexpected to drop due to some factors that may affect them.

Balance in the market will be destroy if the altcoins die in the crypto currency industry. Because as per my observation competition of digital currencies will vanish if that is happen.

In other words bitcoin and alternative coins circulation will remain as one and possible that bitcoin value will become more expensive in the market.
