As you rank up the post time limit will decrease. The limit is to stop new accounts spamming the forums. Be patient and post regularly, you'll soon be a Jnr Member and not have this impediment.

What about when you haven't posted yet and you get the message?
1. I log on
2. review threads I'm interested in
3. decide to respond to a post or write a new post
4. start typing
5. hit post
6. ERROR
IT'S OBVIOUSLY BEEN MORE THAN 360 SECONDS!
Why would i be getting this? regardless of if I'm new or not.

You need to post regularly and after approximately 14 days the time will decrease to 60 seconds

I do not think it's annoying, because you can hit the "back" button in your browser, and the writing input will not be lost.

Its not that bad.. maybe watch some music vid on youtube or read another topic so you will not get bored .. and write long replys or think harder so that you will use the wait time on your advantage.. just sayin..

it's not a big deal for me, and it's not too annoying, because I write an indirect post in the input reply field, but I write it first in Notepad, then move it by copy to the input reply field. So if I meet the "360 seconds" warning I just copy the writing back without having to type from scratch again.
