Hello, Figured I would submit a legit loan request. I want to buy 10 USB Block Eruptors from the group buy here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237661.0;topicseenhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=254073.0Edit: Will likely switch to the group buy for the AM mini blade 5GH/s (10.2 BTC) for a quicker turnaround time on resell!
Still looking for someone with a brokerage account to escrow! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=254739.0;topicseenThe total will come to 10.1618 9.718 BTC and I intend on mining with the majority of them and maybe trying to sell a couple of them on eBay or Craigslist for a profit. Will pay back 10.75 BTC. That's over 10% profit!Collateral:I have $1200 in my Scottrade account. Shares of FNMA would be the primary collateral, as I have 500 shares currently valued at $700. I don't want to sell any of these shares and could repay the loan by the end of August. Give me the terms of your loan and a way to give my Scottrade account to Escrow, and I am down. Update: I found this form which will allow me to transfer securities to YOUR brokerage account. This would nullify any malintent of me trying to restore my account, as the shares would be transfered as a GIFT from my account to yours. After repayment you could transfer it back to me through your brokerage account. https://www.scottrade.com/documents/formscenter/LOAT.pdfThanks in advance!

Well you are new here (Date Registered: June 13, 2013) and if you need loan quickly without hassle , I will advice you to provide some ID proof, your ebay account feedback etc and let lender send bitcoins directly to groupbuy organizer/escrow as accounts can be recovered by you easily or it could be a hacked account.
Goodluck.

Yeah, I would gladly provide a lender with a ID proof and pretty much anything they requested via PM, of course. I fully intend on letting them send the bitcoins to the group buy organizer, and can pay back whatever terms necessary. I just want to get the miners asap, and if I sell my stocks, then it would be about a 5-7 day turnaround time to get the money from shares of FNMA to BTC. Figured this would be faster. Where do I start as far as looking for a loan like this? I just got into bitcoins last month, and it is way more exciting than the NYSE to me! Newbies without collateral do not get loans. A Scottrade account worth more than the loan requested is not collateral?

Newbies without collateral do not get loans. A Scottrade account worth more than the loan requested is not collateral? How does that help if you default? The collateral needs to be in the lender's control.

I could transfer the account information, a signed collateral contract, photo ID, etc. to a preferred escrow account - John K? I'm completely fine with using escrow for this but it would definitely need to be someone extremely reputable as my Scottrade account has my bank account information linked to it. The main problem would be getting this done before the group buy closes tonight. bump.. need this today before the group buy closes

Actually, the main problem would be you contacting Scottrade and regaining control of the account after you have received the coins. You need to have something that can transferred non-reversibly to the lender. That is collateral.

A signed letter of collateral would be sufficient for any attorney with half a brain to sue me for the assets (i.e. stocks) listed on the letter. But, I understand it is a risk not many will be willing to take. Can you help me out, Vod? I can go get the cash out of my bank account after work and buy a money pak at the store. Do you know of anyone that would be able to trade a money pak for BTC in a short time-frame... say... 8 hours or so? Obviously I should have done this last week but I didn't think the USB miners were going to sell so fast! No, I prefer to have collateral in my hands, so I can sell it and recoup my investment. I don't want to waste time and money on a lawyer.

Just go to localbitcoins.com and trade there, I've done it a few times, once sold BTC for a moneypak and another sold BTC for Paypal. Went very well, there was escrow etc.
Now that I think about it, I have a paypal debit card so I can access any money from my paypal account instantly, so that might not help you.
