The fact that it is from what you call an "east market" has very little to do with it's potential as a project or company.
But yes, OmiseGo is a very good investment because it already has an actual product instead of being like other ICOs who promise nothing but air.

Market cap is almost $800 million and the rank is #16 on coinmarketcap. This is even enoug to get more people into the ecosystem. I believe this omise go project in long run from heart. |

I think it is a good investment, it was flying high before all the China ICO drama. I am pretty sure it will find its way back to the level it was at before and beyond. The current price on the exchange is very low so it would be a good time to stock up if you are interested. You have to form your own opinion though, do your homework. Taking the advice of random people on the internet is never the best idea.

OmiseGO is gonna release it's own blockchain (and wallet) sometime soon, probably Q1 2018. I would say now is a very good time to buy to get in before those upgrades get priced in as the events get closer and closer. It's also supposed to go Proof of Stake in the future, which is also a plus for token holders.

I have kept this coin for over 2 months. Not generating good profit like others. So, I personally not recommend to invest on this coin. |

OmiseGO is a good hold for 2018. There's a good entry point right now at around 100k satoshis (currently $8 usd). The team from Thailand is working hard to deliver a new blockchain and wallet.

OmiseGo is at a great price current and is a good long term bet.
Cannot go wrong with a great team including Vitalik Buterin as an advisor.

I personally don't think that only a wallet can get investors interested. Looking at the roadmap, they are going to publish wallet SDK, not a wallet. That is going to happen on 2018Q1. All the good stuff i.e blockchain, dex and cash i/o items are 2018Q2 and onwards. Not a short term moon rocket but if they are going to deliver to roadmap and succeed, 2018 second half will be interesting.

Invest and have fun. Only this coin is very expensive. And I would not invest in it. Can be a strong drawdown. But, from this, too, some colleagues can have fun or with your words - have a good time.
