Sorry, I can't suggest any of available pools, not ethical towards to other pools though. Just pick one that you like/was using in past/have a confidence in, all's good enough to be choosen.

Looks like you tried to send coins that were made/generated while network was freezed 3 weeks and all that coins/blocks now are orphan cause of chains rollback to block 299500, as result - TX is confilcted when you trying to send orphan/unexisted coins. Thats my best guess.

Your coins are oprhans, so they not existed.

By default lux saves the data to: win - c:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Lux\
                                                mac - ~/Library/Application Support/Lux
Lux-qt.exe saves in folder that you point, by default its - c:\Users\user_name\Downloads\

EDIT: Ok when I use the qt.exe it opens a window that has the end user agreement.. like its going to reinstall.. but when I click ok it opens the wallet. So its working but has that little flaw.  Thx

Just click on ok to agree and then it should open...that's how I got mine to work.
