Do you have some news in regard to FPGA resistance?
In the FPGA thread it is stated that you will not succeed. I do hope Lux will be able to stay ahead of them though
I did notice that when the fork happened, there was a pretty high rate of hashes on the mining sites considering we saw a drop in hashes per card by 80 to 90%. Could this have been some early implementations of FPGAs? Mining with GPUs seems to be pretty unprofitable at the current price so maybe the trick is using FPGAs to cheat and get a better return.
Whatever, I'm out and won't be mining LUX unless the price recovers substantially or the difficulty drops dramatically. I'll be relying on any growth from masternodes and just take a wait and see on the mining side.
It is a reflection on the crypto market atm that after releasing so many improvements, the price actually went down and not up. Sure there was a big fuckup in the fork but the coin seems quite stable now and we should at least be on par with where we were before the fork.
