takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but

I dont know how, or why, windows hates us poor miners I see absolutely no reason to have windows update enabled on mining rigs. Updates cause way more issues than solve. Even if a mining rig was compromised, no damage can be done or nothing could be stolen. Just manually update every few months.

I Kind of agree with you, but logic dictates that an update would provide more stability. Atleast that is what i think, without reading the patch notes. And ofcourse they are not updating automaticly. That would be miner suicide

Yes windows updater sucks. Sometimes my pc cooler goes insane and makes a sound like an aircraft taking off. I open taskmanager and see update going on in the background.

Windows search for gpedit.msc
Go to: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Update

Ok let's talk about new windows update problems.. I make it easier. After I install the windows, I turn off all window tracking, all updates. I completely shut down windows access to the Internet and I have no problems. Everything works stably And I advise you also.
