More than likely he was involved in a plot against the real Satoshi.

More than likely he’s got a new lambo and doesn’t give two bits about your opinion.

Did you dump your BTC for BCH yet?

I don’t buy it.

If I were in that car redlining it with you shouting at me to chill then I’d believe it.   Grin

No not mine.I can only afford to use my bicycle. This is Dr Wright getting into his new yellow lambo.

You Little bitch.  The yellow lambo is a rental cause the tranny on his blue one went out.  Now he’s bored and will probably get a black one.

Get it?

So much hate with little facts from the detractors...dont believe everything you read...if you do, its time to stop reading.

I concede that some people dont want to acknowledge CSW examples/proof, and quick to quip he is a fraud, but the irrefutable...irrefutable fact remains is that Gavin fully accepts his proof.

In our crypto world regarding bitcoin, that word ends with him.

Given that fact, if you doubt CSW then you are also doubting Gavins word.

Now i dont know Gavin personally, but i dont know what he has to gain by acknowledging CSW proof.

I think many here would die in an Aussie pub, they dont mess round and get to the point.

I must say, CSW has some big decisions to make, hmmm, black or blue Lambo??? first world problems. Grin

we are talking about bitcoin and the proof of ownership in this world. only cryptographic proof matters here not the word of mouth.

this is how you provide proof. a simple but irrefutable proof that everyone can see and everyone can verify fast and easy.

What a load of gibberish.

Do you not realize that Gavin has lost his credibility the minute he made his ridiculous statement?

Either there is cryptographic proof or there is fraud. It's as simple as that.

"There is proof but I can't post it", "I believe someone is Satoshi" and the likes are statements that are as worthless as "I believe your underwear are red". It's completely useless in every sense AND in the world of cryptocurrency it's a fucking provocation on every level that can not be tolerated at all.

Craig Wright is exposed. The fact that there are people who believe in the conmen is utterly sad, and actually quite pathetic. They don't care about the truth, they just see the Lambo. This is what they care about. They don't give a damn about Bitcoin, going so far as to claim a Bitcoin fork is the "real Bitcoin". All this for their own selfish profit.

As cryptocurrency believers we have the responsibility to expose and stop the criminals.

I bet one hundred dollars that he was just trying to do it in order to earn the credit of bitcoin, which is almost impossible to realize, or maybe he was just trying to hype the price in order to make people believe in that he is the real satoshi nakamoto.
All those guys are a garbage, i dont know why they really give the enough attention to this kind of guys because we all know the real intentions of this people.
I dont even know why he looks like a dumb guy, maybe it is his body language, or his words, it is really very weird.

Right what you said. Word, body language and eyes all are fake.
They are just bad guy.

I think maybe he was trying to smoke Satoshi out. By claiming he is Satoshi, he thought the real Satoshi would reveal himself and he would gain attention in the meantime and perhaps be able to avoid tax debt payments too.

I still think Mike Hearn is the best candidate to be the real Satoshi. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2146520.msg21475727#msg21475727

If he is satoshi, then make a transaction from the btc address used from the genesis block.

Of the 66.7140667 BTC at that address, only 16.7140667 can be moved, as those particular 50 block reward coins are unspendable.  No one knows for sure whether that was intended by design or an accidental bug in the code.  Even the real Satoshi can't move all of those coins without the code being altered.  Everyone says it's "21,000,000 BTC", but technically it's 20,999,950.

But yes, Wright could settle it (but won't, because it isn't him) by moving some or all of the 16.7140667 BTC that appear to have been donated to that address over the years.  Or by signing a message legitimately this time and not faking it by copying an old signature directly from the blockchain.  And definitely not by deliberately backdating PGP keys like he did the first time he claimed to be Satoshi and got caught out.  Always remember that he has twice tried and failed to prove he is Satoshi.  I don't see why anyone should give him a third opportunity regardless of how elaborate his next hoax turns out to be.

I'm actually shocked how extremely crude this is.

See Mr. Fake in action:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIvqn87iAz8&t=0m35s

Is this a new level of fraudster?

noone really fell for this shit in the first place. why would satoshi reveal himself, and like that, after playing it cool for so long?

what i never got about this dude, is how he thought he was going to get away with this. clearly, if you cant move satoshis coins, you arent satoshi. so if he knew he couldnt access the wallets, why even open his mouth in the first place? account access wasnt going to be enough, the burden of proof would have been something the real satoshi would have provided for, knowing the nature of his creation (psuedoanonomous). satoshi has no incentive to reveal himself, practically. so we wont see him. maybe his kid might say something down the line, but im doubting every person that makes this claim. it simply doesnt make sense to do so.

i also dont get why this guy, who was respected before all that, would throw away his reputation behind this.

greed/seeking fame makes people do some silly shit.

This is interesting and has potential to explain a lot about Craig Wright claiming to be Satoshi.

Quote
SINGAPORE/SYDNEY (Reuters) - A company built around the research of Craig Wright, who has claimed to have invented the bitcoin cryptocurrency, has been sold to a private equity firm in a deal the company says is the biggest to date involving bitcoin’s underlying blockchain technology.

A person close to the deal said $300 million had been invested in nChain, but it was not clear over what period of time.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-bitcoin-wright-fund-exclusive/exclusive-company-behind-bitcoin-creator-sold-to-private-investors-idUSKBN17F26V

$300 million is a lot of money for a blockchain startup.

It is possible Craig Wright was paid $300 mil to pretend to be Satoshi. The rights and patents to blockchain technology could definitely be worth much more than $300 million dollars. Its not outside the realm of possibility that someone paid Craig Wright to pretend to be Satoshi in order to secure blockchain patents at a discount price.

Actually, while your comment is amusing, it may be closer to truth than you suspect. I always thought that Satoshi was more like a very well organized group of people, not excluding government agencies either. Maybe even some guys nicknamed Dorothy and Wizard Smiley

satoshi being a well organized group of people, can be true. it can be a name that a developers team chose for their communication so that none of them takes credit for creating the decentralized cryptocurrency. maybe people like Hal Finney were in that group.

but government agencies? why would they create something like bitcoin which created the decentralized currency movement and led to creation of things such as Monero and all these anonymous currencies which will cause them a lot of troubles because those are really anonymous and they can not track them. this part of your theory sounds far fetched to me.
