One of the causes of climate change that occur on earth is global warming. Global warming is an increase in average temperature on the surface of the earth whether land or sea. The effect of global warming on climate change is very significant, for example from a study revealed that global warming can increase the intensity of the occurrence of storms. One of the main reasons of climate change is because of the extensive and continuous utilization of fossil fuels that emits harmful chemicals and gases that causes greenhouse effect. Because of this, global temperature rises,the emission of CO2 or carbon dioxide is trapped inside the planet that triggers massive and violent weather conditions such as hurricanes or typhoons. Forest degradation is one major factor,trees and plants that should absorb the CO2 is now depleted due to the industrialization and commercialization that turned forests into a now populated areas.
Because of the increase in population,energy demand increases too and until today,our source of energy is through the use of fossil fuels, unless we stop using it or we invent other alternative solutions, there is a chance to turn the tables,we have to invent other source of energy that is more clean and environment friendly.

Maybe the movie Water World which starred Kevin Costner would come to reality if we dont act upon global warming at present. Proofs of this can be seen right now. Sea water level are increasing every year and polar ice are melting. Better deal with this calamity now or bear the consequences later on.

Forests are vanishing at a rate of around 100,000 sq.km a year. At this rate we will be left without any forests in the next 50-60 years. And we are ignoring the root cause behind this. The root cause is over-population. As the population increases, the people start to cut down the forests in search of more land.

the rise and continuing effects on pollution. The increase of carbon dioxide

Honestly, I think the biggest environmental travesties of out time are deforestation of places like the amazon, plastic pollution of the environment (particularly the ocean) and factory farming (also known as CAFO's) which produces tons of methane and toxic sludge of blood and manure that the environment cannot handle.

If humanity does not change their ways I'll end up crying. I'd say we've got 20 years tops.

Actually nuclear energy, if used properly can have a positive effect on the global climate change. If we could replace the thermal power-plants with those run with Uranium fuel, then the emission of carbon dioxide could be reduced by a great deal. But then, there are safety concerns and the questions about the disposal of nuclear waste.

Oh my god, I am sure that you don't know what you are talking about. This is the first time I am reading about someone pointing to a link between global warming and nuclear weapon tests. Such tests are known to cause massive amounts of environmental damage in the form of radiation. But till now, no one has claimed that they are having an impact on the climate change.
