If you select from Top 25 that means you buy coins that has already make their big move and raise their marketcap value. You can't get rich with small investment such as OP's 500 bucks with those coins. OP need to pick coins from marketcap value less than 100 million USD and potential to have over billions of USD marketcap level.

as of March 20, 2017, the price for one "Litecoin" was $4, and today the price of one LTC is 41.33 USD!!! It means that in only 90 days the price of LTC has increased by 10 times! If you have bought on March 20 "Litecoin" for the sum of 100 dollars, then today, at sale, have helped out 1033 "American ruble". You of course sorry, but not each HAYP will give such indicator.

The price of many coins grew up sufficiently during one year. Litecoin was just among those ones that did not lose its place in the charts. Difficult to say which alt will be the most profitable one. I suppose it can be Cardano.

There a number of great coins out there and many have yet to be listed on the exchanges.  Following the ICO period there is often a dip as people sell off their Airdrop/Bounty but the good coins recover and build, those are the ones to look for and obviously only invest if there is strong business fundamentals behind the company.

Genesis Vision is a solid one.  Hard to pick ones now in the Early Stages.  I think it's smart to pick a few ones in Different Stages & Hold them (i.e one from the top ten, another one in the top 50, top 100, top 200, & one small cap coin) & monitor them every 3-6 months.

There's a lot of altcoin have a potential to make as rich but for me i think Ethereum is one of the most profitable token when it comes to market and of course bitcoin also. Anyways, if you want to invest, you can invest in top 10 altcoin it the market and invest it for a long term, and that's will make you rich and that's my suggestion but before that much better to do some research before you invest.

I would suggest you get some NEO because this coin is very promising a lot of amazing projects upcoming this year and started a lot of great ICOs already partnered with NEO because their technology was really great so expect NEO will be huge after 5-10 years.

Just put your money into project, which are doing serious groundwork at the protocol level.
My suggestion is Quantstamp, as they're tackling an inherent problem in smart contracts.
They have a challenging task ahead, but if they achieve to build a scalable network for smart contract verification, this will be very huge in the coming years.

There are bunch of altcoins out there than can possibly make us rich but its hard to look for them because we have to dig deeper and not just rely to what we read. If you are a trader and prefer short term then you can check each chart of the coins but if you prefer long term hold then you have to dig deeper and do a lot of research before you invest your money.

Remember that anyway it's easier to make a +1000% on something with a value of a few cents (or even less) rather than something valued $10k. Maybe in the very looong run BTC could be the best, but in the short period no.
