Yes, every computer can mine it but you don't always profit. Mining with CPU isn't profitable so you should use your GPU.

https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/eth

You can calculate your profit here. Also, some other coins may be more profitable than Ether.

Thanks! I ask because i heard that mining ether has high requirement on GPU. Not sure AMDHD 8210 is a good option or not. Huh

Your configuration cant mine etherium and any other cryptocurrency.
For mining you need to buy high end class gpu

It seems this is a laptop and you GPU is an integrated one. So forget about mining, even with a dedicated GPU you will kill your laptop with no profits.

Can't mine with that. In order to mine you need very special graphics cards which are not cheap.
Those cards are:

1. AMD
AMD RX580 (best one Sapphire Nitro+)
AMD RX570
AMD RX480
AMD RX470
AMD VEGA 56 or 64

2. NVidia
GTX1060
GTX1070
GTX1070 TI
GTX1080
GTX1080 TI

If it was 2 or 3 years ago, you can still mine with cpu but today, it was already non profitable and there is a high risk of just losing your cpu without any profit. In addition to what has been said, if you're interested in mining, you should invest on 4Gb cards and should stay away from 3Gb as the DAG size is expected to increase by mid 2018 rendering 3Gb cards useless on most profitable coins.

I think with such resources of your computer you will not get a profit, and if you get it, your profit will be completely invisible. For mining, you need something stronger

HD 8210 doesn't have enough RAM to mine ETH - you need at least a 3GB card RIGHT NOW and fairly soon 3GB won't be enough.

You do NOT need a "current" card to mine ETH - one of the better ETH cards for hashrate is still the R9 290 (or 390), though their power consumption is quite a bit higher than current cards.

Do NOT use a 1080 or 1080ti to mine ETH with. PERIOD. They are not good at it due to latency issues with the GDDR5X ram they use.

At CURRENT pricing, don't look at any NVidia card except PERHAPS the 1060.
Vega is quite a bit overpriced for IT'S ETH production as well, though not as badly as the 1070 and up - Vega is a MUCH better card mining Monero at this time.
For the price of ONE Vega you can get a pair of most RX 470/480/570/580 models that WILL hash quite a bit faster as a pair then a single Vega on ETH.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

You can try it on some other Ethash coins or Equihash with smaller DAG file Smiley You never know when the next pump of "that" coin will come Smiley

Your system resources have insufficient performance for mining. You need much more productive iron to get at least some profit.

You might be able to get some Cryptonote coins , But ethereum is out of the question for you.

I recommend acquiring better hardware if you wish to mine GPU coins.

Always doubt.

Almost every computer can mine. The question is, is it profitable? As already mentioned above, the more powerful the equipment, the better;)

Your computer is very weak. You can try mine, but you will get a penny, and you will spend an incredible amount of time.

A few years ago, the power of your computer would be enough to get a small profit. Now I would not advise even to start mine on such a computer hardware.

I mine Litecoin on a similar computer, but with a powerful video card. I even managed to earn some money on this. But now this power is not enough for mining.

I guess you understood from the previous replies that you need a good GPU to mine anything at all.

thank you very much! you are awsome! What about network? is network speed another big matter?
No it's not a big deal at all. In fact, a 1mbps line will do just fine. The mining rig just uses the internet to submit shares to the mining pool which is nothing really just some numbers sent and received.

I mine Litecoin on a similar computer, but with a powerful video card. I even managed to earn some money on this. But now this power is not enough for mining.

You're totally wasting your time and wasting electricity for nothing. Thinking about mining any coin without a decent mining rig with new Nvidia or AMD gpu cards.
But even with modern high-end gpus, mining a coin on an algorithm that already has ASIC miners for them is wothless. These asics produce way way more hashpower than our cards. The only "profitable" way to mine litecoin for example is to buy antminer l3+ right now.
