Some people came and asked me about the investment strategy of crypto, which coin should they invest in and why?

The questions are difficult and we cannot have a single answer for everybody.

However, in my opinion, like any other investment campaign, you should define your targets, resources, and strategy in other to reach your targets.

My target is to make 100% profit from my investment by the end of this year.

To achieve that, I divide my money into 3 parts : ICOs, Alt, and BTC

I think you need to follow every ICO very carefully if you want to invest in them, make sure you do duedil on the background of the company & the members involved and if you do not feel 100% comfortable with their proposed business plan don't invest. We're still in the wildwest of crpyto and there's plenty of people looking for a quick buck.

The same goes with alt coins - if they're promising over the odds then it's likely to be a cash grab. Only invest if you 100% support the vision of the project and try not to follow the crowd (if it goes up 100% in a day then it's probably hit its peak and will crash)

Bottom line, DYOR - do your own research. No one knows what will actually be successful but if you're smart about where you invest you can minimise the damage to your holdings

it is always best to stick to your own plans and strategies and never follow what others do. it is not a bad idea to check what they are doing, but in my experience the strategy that you come up with and plan is always going to work best for you.
so if you think the coins and icos you bought are good for you then stick to them. and follow this path.

my strategy is hodling bitcoin and trying my best to take advantage of altcoin pumps to increase the amount i am hodling. but i don't really "invest" in these things and i tend to stay away from ICOs. i feel that is the best course of action for me.

ICO : you should read carefully about the project whitepaper and roadmap also the team behind the project,, so many ICO failed right now,,
because they didn't prepare evrything in the right directions,
Alt : nice choice to increase your BTC amount then you can convert your BTC to your fiat money or USD, so you can increase your investments amount because of your profit
BTC : Buy low and sell high,,

remember combine your trading or investments strategy between technical analys and fundamental, so you investment value will always growing

I also use principles like you start investing in ico, alt, and bitcoin. if to get 100% profit, I think it's not as easy as you mentioned, let alone investing in ico which has the greatest risk when compared with altcoin and bitcoin. for me, the first strategy in trading and investing is to buy cheaply then sell at a high price.

I think the most important strategy is that, not trading with the amounts which can bring you economic crisis. And also, in my opinion, it is better to not buy many different altcoins. Ethereum and bitcoin are the best ones.

It is not hard to buy coins. Way harder is to sell them. That needs a strategy. Did you thought about that yet? When do you plan to sell?  Do you plan to sell by pieces or terminate your investment?  If you terminate, you might miss the moon.   If you wait for moon with full bag you might end with peanuts if your coin crash into oblivion.

It is not hard to buy coins. Way harder is to sell them. That needs a strategy. Did you thought about that yet? When do you plan to sell?  Do you plan to sell by pieces or terminate your investment?  If you terminate, you might miss the moon.   If you wait for moon with full bag you might end with peanuts if your coin crash into oblivion.

Compared to buying coins, I think when you choose to sell is the most difficult problem. This is one of the hardest issues in the financial world to stop or stop. I think only God can do to sell all the coins at the highest point and buy at the lowest point. In addition, the choice to buy altcoin is also very important, after all, the entire ALTCOIN trading market is very confusing.

This is the most critical point here. Some people are spending the money more than they can actually afford. This results in disappointments and they will be really unhappy after a failure of trading and investment.

I have a similar investment strategy as yours, and I have about 30% investment of ICO projects such as AVT, and 40% investment of altcoins such as XAS and ETH. And the rest is BTC.

Very good advice. Yup, there are many altcoins available and coming so we need to be selective to not loosing money.

all investment strategies are garbage, you have mainly focus on the thoughts and behavior of the financial property owning global elite, if those are scared by someting they try buying it out, like seen in the case of bitcoin.

if you have successful gains its more pure luck because all analysis only overfew a small percentage of the total reality that creates those market prices. and the worst thing is that you have an owners premine that is systematically working against you.

My advice would be to invest in the best developers, not the idea. It is very easy to market a fantastic idea these days, whether the idea is achievable or not. The founders do not care anymore as long as they can gain millions in an ICO.

I also reckon the beginners in the cryptospace make the mistake in believing that the millions held by the developers will bring them some success.

If you want to make 100% profit by the end of this year, you shouldn`t invest in ICO, because its long-term investitions and most of their tokens are dunping on exchanges at the beginning. And a lot of ICO nowadays are using model "Scam&Run".

Yes that is what many people do today. They only see the value alone without any sense of wanting to know what ideas are there in the project. When you see developers have got investors they will follow them. That is probably the easiest way for a beginner, but it will not prove that what we choose is the best thing.

You mention an important thing and this is target. But you must come up with precise steps about how you arrived at those targets. Remember, targets is not just about profit but also about loss limits. Yes! You must set a target of loss that you are willing to bear, before you stop and cut losses. It is not about saying 100%, it is about looking for the evidence to support the decisions, including why 100% is reasonable, the time frame to achieve it, and like I said, the losses you are willing to risk before pulling out.

Same thing for every aspect you invest in: ICOs, projects, coins. This is not a simple thing, this is not an easy thing. Do not be fooled!
