In times of Bitcoin civil war please take a Deep breath for a moment and realize that Bitcoin should remain Bitcoin for everybody, it should not be split into many different Bitcoins, much like some old fashioned nation states. That shouldn't be in the interest of any Bitcoiner.

Wondering why that thought even came to your mind. But have you considered the fact that whether the bitcoin o remorse specifically the internet will be working in the period of civil war? I mean who will go online and checkout the bitcoin in first place, :-)   They will just like to have the gold instead of the bitcoin because in that period that would be more precious than the bitcoin. There is no point in keeping the digital stuff around as it could turn of with the switch but assets like real estate, gold nd other precious metal and stone can be very dangerous and led to splitting in first place. Thats what happens when a war, revolt or unwanted national movement start occurring, people go crazy and steal things from the national property. Bitcoin will be safe and no one will veer think of it I guess.
