totally support that, i was trapped as well with (luckily) a sub-ETH-account. I think there is a similar scam using another coin/token...

well, if free airdrops are scam or not at the end doesn't matter, as long as you don't under no f@#$ing circumstance give out your Private Key...

The best is to use a separate email (for the spam), twitter and maybe even a separate wallet with your play money only.

Most airdrops is the to get your social media detail so they can spam you with ico's.

I think your friend is stupid, private key this thing must be only a liar will find you to ask, the normal airdrop will not ask for a private key.

Why so many scams these days. Is because of poverty in many nations? Anyway we should be very wary! An idiot hacked my wallet recently I don't know how. I'm now applying the rule of one ETH wallet one bounty campaign or Airdrop to reduce the risk of loss. How do you see it ?

The amount of money and people getting scammed in this space is getting ridiculous. The new people just want to make fast money.

Guys, of course you should never do that but as a Newbie things are not so clear: this website is faking a Sign Message to get your Airdrop...it is really very well made, looks like it is really legit. They are not just directly asking for your key. But surely it is a big scam. This is just to warn everybody (esp. Newbies) about this scam website.
